"It is all closed and in ruins. It doesn't exist. The place is not a place to stay. It is left abandoned and the building site is orribile. It is all rust and closed with building site fences. It ruins the beautiful beach. It is an awful place to pass by. "

"Paradores are iconic landmarks—castles, stately homes, and so on. In this case, it was a stately home perched high above San Sebastián de la Gomera. The service is good, it has a swimming pool, and fabulous views. The breakfasts are excellent. The room offers tea and coffee, and they leave a bottle of water each day."

"Centrally located hotel. My room and bathroom were both of very good size. Rooms seem to vary but the top floor rooms have a nice large balcony, which I enjoyed. The street outside is pedestrian only so no traffic noise but there might be some noise from pedestrians if they are loud. Overall, a clean, well located option."

Hotel Rural Triana

"I've never stayed in such a peculiar room - like a giant bunk. The very gloomy ground floor of the room consists of a sort of small lounge with settee, desk with chair and fridge plus a shower room. You need to climb a 19-step spiral staircase to the mezzanine way up above. Only take up your bedtime essentials! You can't open the shutters which reduces the light considerably although you can open the windows for fresh air. I wonder what the other rooms are like. There's an enclosed shared courtyard but it feels very enclosed and doesn't get much sun. The location is fine - just a few minutes walk into the village square. Everywhere is very peaceful. You will sleep well."

Hotel la Colombina

"It's located near the port, the beach, and the main square. The room is spacious, with a small table and chair, shelves for storing things, and a clothes rack, even though there's no wardrobe. Breakfast is a small buffet with a good selection, and the waiters are attentive and helpful. However, the room overlooks a tiny interior courtyard that smells unpleasant, so you can't open the window to air it out and escape the heat. The gentleman at reception was unable to resolve a fairly simple issue."

"Very good food in the restaurant, large and tasty portions. The rooms were clean, with a nice smell. The only downside was the shower holder."
