"Lovely little cottage in an historical area. Numerous cottages - stayed in Servants Qtrs used to be the original Baker's house. Things I loved - Loved the history and historical feel. Loved the unique feeling. Some areas wonky floor - not great for elders Baked goods delivered Had everything required - bed, bathroom, kitchen. Heater, TV. Parking out back or street Lovely little garden you can use herbs from BBQ shared out back Shower has a great shower head Recycling area Things I didn't like Bedroom was tight couldn't walk around bed. Didn't have instructions for washing machine. Water needed to be turned on to use A couple cobwebs"

"Staying at Brickendon was truly a joy for us. From the warm and engaging welcome at reception, we knew this was going to be a fabulous stay. We stayed at the Pumpkin Cottage for 3 nights, the pictures online don't do it justice - it's much more spacious than expected. Super clean, tidy, cosy and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and had electric blankets (we stayed in winter), plenty of wood to keep the fire roaring and the most gorgeous view for sunrises! The property is gorgeous and the animals are so friendly and adorable! The animal feeding in the mornings are well worth doing, so much fun. But what made it extra special was the beautiful staff - every single person we met there had the most wonderful hearts, happy for a chat, honest and just a delight to meet. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you team at Brickendon!"
