Heritage Hotel Hallstatt Reviews

Initially I thought i will be staying at the hotel near where the ferry drop us. However, after register and check in i was led to another place around 5 to 10 minutes walk away. Anyway, the room provided was great with a good lakeview. So Im pretty satisfied. Nice place to stay in with mini market nearby. Breakfast buffet was awesome! Nice!

Location near jetty and surrounded with restaurants and scenic view

Everything is just perfect during our stay at Heritage Hotel.Our room is located at the main building of the hotel which is attached to lobby and the restaurant.Make our stay more convenience.The main building is just steps walk from the jetty .Our room is facing the lake.Coffee and tea sachets are provided in the room..We had our dinner at the restaurant,it was good.The buffet breakfast was very yummy..Overall im very happy with our stay and we will stay again at this hotel..

I was disappointed with the level of service during my stay. The receptionist did not arrange the correct room type, even though we had come from Asia for a new experience and had paid a high rate during a non-peak season. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff also seemed to treat us differently once they realized we were Asian, despite the fact that we were hotel guests. The pillows in the room were dirty, very thin, and quite small, which made our stay uncomfortable. The breakfast was also below expectations — the food was not very fresh, portions were limited, and items were not refilled even though breakfast time had just begun and there were still 30 minutes remaining. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and make improvements so that all guests, regardless of background, receive the same level of care and hospitality

Spacious room with an amazing view of the lake. Breakfast was nice too. Highly recommended

Great view of the lake, don’t miss the beautiful sun rise! Walking distance all spots. Dinner at hotel v good. Remember to make reservations, otherwise isf full you hv no where to hv dinner esp during cold weather

Location is the best as it was right next to the arrival pier and 5 mins walk to the photo spot. Room was clean and comfortable. I booked a room with balcony lake view but as I got the ground floor room, the view got obstructed by cars in the parking. Breakfast and dinner were really good and I loved the ambiemce of the hotel restaurant.

The hotel’s reception is just on the right after coming out from the boat station. The staff can speak really good english and our luggage was allowed to be keep for free before check in time which is really helpful for us to stroll around before check in time. There are 3 buildings of the hotel in Hallstatt which can be accessed by walking, unfortunately our room is not the main building which we need to walk around5-10mins. But the staff helped us to carry our heavy luggage to our room during check in and check out which is really great and I appreciate their service. The breakfast is also really tasty with assorted food! Overall a nice hotel if you’re planning to stay in Hallstatt!

great service and spectacular views of the lake from the balcony of our room. the room was spacious and comfortable. buffet breakfast was excellent with a variety of food options.

This hotel is one those bucket-list hotels that you should visit at least once to really take in the beauty of the Hallstatt region. The lake view was amazing especially when you are sitting on the balcony enjoying a coffee in the morning watching the sun peak over the mountains. The breakfast buffet was good and the shuttle bus service to and from the car park was very convenient specially with large luggage.

In the heart of town, the front desk lady was really nice, glad we chose this one as the town basically shutdown after 6pm, the restaurant at the hotel was the few places you can dine in Hallstatt if you stayed overnight.

Supppppper good location which is just located at the boat station, perfect for who coming with luggage. Behind the hotel, there’s a viewpoint where I go every morning and night and take picture of the best scene day and night. Wonderful stay!
