TownePlace Suites New Orleans Downtown/Canal Street Reviews

For a corporate Marriott this is a good option, an oasis of calm in what can be a chaotic city at times. My only issue is they don't offer streaming platforms like other Marriott options do - for example at Residence you get Netflix, Amazon Prime, Plato TV, almost any platform you can imagine. The TownPlace doesn't have any of this stuff. Kind of confusing why you'd limit the amenities. Another issue - not even a bottle of water in the room. I just stayed at a hyatt last night (Barnett) where you get an entire giant fridge full of anything you could imagine - champagne, red bull, soda, wines, etc. So by comparison this place feels really austere for the price. Also, the weird security lockout where my key didn't work from 0:00 - 1:30AM, is bizarre and caused some logistical issues for me checking in late. With a little more vibe this place could be 5/5 but I'm rating it 3/5 for the lack of amenities.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel was super nice, the bedroom was big and clean, super comfortable. Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was really good. Definitely recommend!!

Hotel is on canal street little away from bourbon so location is great. Room service is every alternate day which is disappointing. Breakfast and other services are good.

The hotel is in a good location, just off Highway 10, a 20-minute walk from the city center, and only 10 minutes to Bourbon Street. There is a tram passing by the door, which is convenient. The room is large and has a double bed. The room has a kitchen, and the breakfast is also good, standard American. The hotel parking lot is diagonally opposite, and you have to cross the road. The nearest public parking lot to the hotel is convenient, 20 US dollars a day, and there are discounts on Saturdays and Sundays. The air conditioner is a bit loud, and the hygiene is good and clean. We encountered a small problem when checking in, but the Ctrip staff gave careful communication and solved it quickly, which must be praised.

The room is spacious and very clean. Everything you need for cooking is in the kitchen with a plus a large fridge. The hotel staff is amazing, kind and very attentive. The only thing to improve is the breakfast which is repetitive and little decayed. The hotel is very well located in can street with a tram stop 200 m away. I recommend this hotel

Stayed for 6 nights. The environment is good. It's just next to the city center. It's a bit noisy. The roar of cars and motorcycles is loud. Rental car parking is about 20 US dollars a night. It's in the opposite block.

It is a suite. Just to start with the sofa was broken. Let the room attendant change it to a good one, and it's ok. Easy to cook.
