"I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape the everyday. Dent-Blanche Resort is a true gem, nestled in the heart of the mountains at the foot of the chairlift leading to the 4 Valleys! Throughout my stay, the service was impeccable, subtly blending comfort, luxury, and friendliness. Le Sapin Bleu has all the ingredients for a perfect après-ski experience. Bonus points for the sunny terrace! We ate very well. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. My apartment (brand new) was tastefully decorated, and the view was exceptional. The Lumen spa has everything to please. I even discovered the salt room and the flotation tank... no need to go to the sea to get a breath of fresh sea air! What bliss!"

"The hotel is easily visible in town; there's a supermarket next door and the train station across the street. Breakfast suited my taste perfectly—nuts, cereals, and the plums were incredibly sweet. However, the breakfast area is divided into sections; I suggest labeling the lunch area on the tables to avoid guests sitting in the wrong place."

"The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station, and there are many authentic restaurants nearby. It's a newly opened hotel, clean and tidy. Our room had a small refrigerator, microwave, and a shared washing machine. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was delicious and excellent value for money!"

"This hotel has all the things required to be a great hotel. Possibly geared up for winter trade but our visit in the summer was very disappointing for the price and the expectation the website portrays. Firstly getting parked and making it to the hotel is a challenge with no signage (car park is an additional €20 per night). The rooms are lovely with great views, no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, mini bar was empty, no A/C. We were told the restaurants were: the lounge bar serving salad or burger, or the pizza restaurant in the resort next door, both very limited. On our last night we discovered that the main restaurant was now open, again a very limited menu but at least the food was Good. The outside is best described as: would look good in the snow. There is a building site joined on, there are building materials laying around, and the patios and walkways are incomplete, bordering unsafe. No maintenance looks to be carried out. The spa is nothing to do with the hotel and is pricey for what appears to be a very busy spa for all surrounding resorts and locals. The biggest let down was breakfast, after 0900, there is very little left, no hot food, you have to request a clean coffee cup, all milks and juices are finished and you have to ask for them to be refilled."

"Dec 2024 • Family The positives are all still there. Great rooms, great breakfast, close to the ski lift, amazing spa (outside pool is a couple of degrees less warm but understandable given electricity costs). It is really comfortable and easy. It does however seem to be declining. Are they under new management? When i rang, i asked whether there was any availability for some dates and was told no, and goodbye, rather than trying to find alternatives. I looked elsewhere and my partner entered 1 day earlier on their website for the dates and there was a room available. I found this odd They then wouldn't let us hold the room for 12-24 hours to check flights and other details etc. In previous years this has never been a problem A couple of items were broken in the room (drier and light). The drier was reported but not replaced. Staff refused to give us the code to the car park (in order to get to the ski room via indoor route with children) despite this never having been a problem in previous years. We asked whether there was a menu for Christmas day and were told it was a chef's suprise. They weren't able to tell us anything on the menu or whether there'd be a choice. We asked whether there would be something for fussy children and between the 3 staff they didn't know anything about it...so we went to have a fondue elsewhere. Overall we'll probably be back with lower expectations, but given the cost, there's a good chance we only go every 2nd year and instead opt for a much cheaper appartment locally (1/3 price)"
