"A group of ten of us all booked separately to celebrate my sixtieth birthday . I had walked past a few years ago and was impressed with the location and the tastefully renovated property. We stayed for three nights and from arrival to departure were very ably assisted by Eric and his family. The cottage is tastefully decorated , comfortable with a plentiful supply of hot water. There is a well stocked honesty bar to boot. The grounds are beautifully laid out and the jacuzzi pool ideal for a lazy afternoon. I had unwittingly booked the smallest room that we just about managed in but it was comfortable but lacked the coffee and treats that the other rooms seemed to enjoy. Breakfast was a total triumph and I would defy anyone to be disappointed. Choose carefully in advance and you will be very well served at a time to suit you. I would certainly love to return"

It was well equipped and clean. Cristelle welcomed us in the most friendly way and gave us a lot of tips about the region. Highly recommend!"

"Simple perfection! From the moment you drive through the gates.....! It is in such a beautiful location, so quiet and bucolic. The place is immaculate, and I am extremely fussy about cleanliness. The staff are so friendly, warm and helpful you feel at home immediately. Our room was gorgeous with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was a treat, with a huge choice of eggs freshly cooked to order, cheese and meats, jams, croissants, fresh breads....I could go on but im making myself hungry remembering. The only slight negative is if you decide to walk to Hornfleur (25 mins or so)...get a taxi back! There is a hill that would strain anyone's legs! All in all, a fabulous stay and I can't wait to come back!"

"A big disappointment. location good, parking safe. But no airco, just a fan in a sweltering room. No shower, only a bath. Breakfast starts at 8am, but because of the heat I wanted to leave early, I got an orange juice and bought some croissants at a bakery. Internet is low speed. This was the most expensive hotel on my whole trip and absolutely the worst."

"Situated in a calm area apart from touristy areas la maison du parc is an old pretty captains house in a beautiful parc with old trees. We had a nice big appartement with a comfortable bed and a new bathroom. Unfortunately despite of many reviews the location has seen better times. It needs some cleaning of the windows, the bedcloths is partly old, the common kitchen is dirty and smells odd, the daily cleaningservice of the rooms could be optimized. We were disappointed of the announced gourmetbreakfast. Almost never an eggdish, no fresh fruits. The owner Amande, who established this former very nice hotel, has given the management to a young lady, who is very nice with her guests but not really professionel in hotel business. The price is for that what you get for to high."
