"We came to spend the weekend at this hotel, which looked very appealing on paper; the photos were attractive. However, the pool wasn't clean, and the hammam was out of order. We arrived in our room to find a bed that creaked terribly, a shower head completely covered in limescale (making it impossible for a woman to wash her hair), and very kitschy decor."

"A big disappointment. location good, parking safe. But no airco, just a fan in a sweltering room. No shower, only a bath. Breakfast starts at 8am, but because of the heat I wanted to leave early, I got an orange juice and bought some croissants at a bakery. Internet is low speed. This was the most expensive hotel on my whole trip and absolutely the worst."

"My husband and I stayed for a week we had a fantastic time. The rooms are great, bit noisy at 6 am but we sleep with windows open and we are more used to the sound of geese. The staff at the resturant with same owner were wonderful. Couldn't fault it in any way. Honfleur is interesting place and the museum pass at 18Euro per adult well worth it for 4 museums. Best gite holiday we have had plan to go back next year for 2 weeks."

"The location of the hotel is at the old town, actually is a bit hard to find the entrance if you are driving there. As we are driving we miss the hotel at the first time. So for people who is driving there you can actually stop in front of the hotel and press the bell and people will come out and help you with the luggage The service is really good, they carry our luggage all the way up the room The room is big and comfy, they have bath hub and steam bath, which is really nice"

"Very good stay. Warm welcome. Be careful, don't expect employees dressed as penguins, it's a chic but relaxed house. Super pleasant room with a beautiful sea view. The staff is attentive and caring. The breakfast products are of very good quality, their small local producers are carefully chosen, and it shows, and tastes. The service is adorable, with advice on the region to visit (which we did and it was great). Excellent cocktails at the bar in the evening, very good advice from the bartender. The Chef is very good, and once again very good products, perfect service. A small remark: we would like a menu a little richer, to have a little more choice, a starter and a main course in addition for example. But it is a seasonal menu, with fresh products and the answer is probably there. Finally, the place is enchanting, the garden, the view, and it is made for people who want to feel at home, but better. We will be back with pleasure."

"We spend 1 night in this outstanding and extraordinary place! It is lovely and quiet and just a short 1 minute drive to Honfleur. The property is huge and exceptionally beautiful. Grounds are beautiful and the pool is heated. Rooms are also excellent. Bathroom was huge and also excellent. Breakfast was excellent as well with lots of delicious pastries. Staff was very friendly and berry caring. It is a small property with something like 8 rooms. Parking is on site (free and very convenient). Overall excel and outstanding place. Very very high scale!"

"Such a beautiful and charming mansion. I felt like I was put back into an earlier time, but had all the modern amenities of today. Gael really wanted everything to be perfect for us and it was. Breakfast had a savory hot dish and a sweet one, plus all the breads and others. Only downside was we only spent one night there. "
