I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was not satisfactory. The Wi-Fi in my room was completely unusable, which made it difficult to stay connected. Additionally, the television could not find any channels, leaving me without entertainment. To make matters worse, the sofa in the wardrobe area was not clean; there were still strands of hair on it, which was quite off-putting. Overall, the lack of basic amenities and cleanliness issues greatly affected my stay. I hope the management addresses these concerns for future guests.

Everything was okay and I enjoyed my stay at Alexandra. When I checked in, the guy at the reception told me that my room had been upgraded. I booked a side seaview room and I got exactly what I booked/paid, I didn't see any difference. The lobby looked very sophisticated, but the room was very basic.

This being my third stay, I emailed the correct hotel email address to request a certain  room and enquire abt room rates for extended stay. I never got a reply. The front desk, housekeeping & maintenance staff are always helpful.  Rooms are small, especially the toilet/shower situation but good enough for one person.  Could smell cigarette smoke in hallway. Obviously a guest. Don’t know if this was addressed. But it was a few consecutive days in a row.  Only one washing machine and one dryer for the entire hotel. But dryer really dries the clothes well.  The electricals can be an issue. USB ports don’t always work and the charging can be very slow. This is one issue that staff can’t seem to solve during my stay.

Good location, near Fortress MTR and North point MTR (within 10 min walking distance). Lots of good food nearby, fast food restaurants, bubble tea stores, grocery stores, local market. Shopping mall is within walking distance. Public transport is easily accessible (MTR, city bus, airport direct bus, ding ding tram…).

Our recent stay was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient. Our room was impeccably clean, modern, and offered a stunning city view. The bed was supremely comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's amenities, particularly the well-equipped gym and the serene rooftop pool. The central location made exploring the city effortless. Every interaction with the team was met with genuine warmth and professionalism. We left feeling thoroughly pampered and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

The service was very good, and check-in was fast. The location of the hotel is great—close to the bus and tram stations, and the subway is also nearby. There are six elevators, so even though our room was on a high floor, it was very quick and easy to get there. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The pool is very nice; it’s big enough for swimming, and the view from the pool is also quite good.

I took the children back to Hong Kong to visit relatives during the summer vacation and stayed in the Prince's Apartment for a month. I felt very satisfied. The location is super convenient, near the subway station and the bus station, the access is completely not worried; nearby restaurants, supermarkets and shopping malls are available, and it is convenient to buy food every day. The room was big enough and clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and courteous and willing to assist. Overall, it is highly recommended!

I came to Hong Kong to see 'The Great Lawyer' and 'Yi Yi'. With other hotels being quite expensive, this one offered a reasonable price, so I decided to book it. I admit I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but my experience turned out to be excellent. The hotel isn't far from Tin Hau MTR station. Be aware that Gaode Maps (Amap) might direct you through small alleys; it's simpler to just walk along the main road for a bit before using navigation. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. While the room was compact, it was spotlessly clean and felt quite new, which is a big plus for Hong Kong hotels. They provided both soft and firm pillows. There was a slight, faint buzzing sound from the bedside strip light, but it wasn't disruptive at all. All in all, it offers excellent value for money. And on a side note, 'The Great Lawyer' musical was absolutely fantastic – I really feel it marks a new high for Chinese musicals, combining both innovation and cultural tradition. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Excellent hotel in a great location just next to the metro entrance. Upon check-in we were thrilled to hear we’d been granted a free upgrade to a suite. The suite was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve had, with a full living room, awesome skyline views from both rooms, and two bathrooms including a large tub in the room. Highly recommend.

The service was exceptional. The pool was definitely the highlight – it was incredibly beautiful and comfortable, and I enjoyed swimming there both in the morning and evening. Our room also offered a lovely sea view. I arrived quite early and initially thought check-in wouldn't be until 3 PM, but as they had an available room, they allowed me to check in right away in the morning, which was fantastic. Overall, the service was excellent, and the location was superb.

Where to Stay in Hong Kong

  • Tsim Sha Tsui: Tsim Sha Tsui, located at the southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, is one of the most representative and bustling areas in the city. It boasts a rich historical background and a modern appearance, and is renowned for its busy commercial district and multicultural characteristics. It features luxury shopping centers, internationally renowned hotels and high-rise buildings. At the same time, it retains historical traces, with many ancient buildings and museums. Showcase Hong Kong's culture and history. And don't forget to take a stroll along the Victoria Harbour at night and enjoy the breathtaking night view of Harbour City!
  • Sham Shui Po: Neon-lit electronics graveyards hide 80HKD(≈15.6 AUD) coffin hostel beds above secret hipster cafes. Steps from the cyberpunk Apliu Street flea market (protip: hunt for retro cameras at 7am before tech geeks swarm). Hong Kong’s Khao San Road—backpackers slurp $18 fishball noodles under dystopian signage, but post-11pm, it morphs into a Blade Runner set.
  • Central & Lan Kwai Fong: By day, finance bros sprint through IFC Mall; by night, Champagne soaks historic cobblestones. Gay bars hide behind Hollywood Road graffiti, with designer hotels (1200−3000+HKD≈235-587 AUD) along the Mid-Levels Escalator. Live for 3am chilli crab with baijiu shots? This is your neon-drenched playground—but avoid NYE: LKF becomes a champagne-supernova warzone where stilettos jam in storm drains.

Outstanding
PPipituanzuoThe AC wasn't cooling effectively, and the fan was quite noisy. The mattress was too soft for my liking, but the front desk was very helpful and arranged to have the top topper removed, which significantly improved the comfort. The food at the restaurant was good, and the buffet breakfast cost 262 RMB per person, including the service charge. All hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming, and provided highly efficient service. The in-room purified water dispenser was both eco-friendly and convenient. The microwave provided was also a thoughtful amenity.

MMeilongjierjiameishenI often stayed here whenever I visited Tin Hau in the past. It's conveniently located near popular local spots like Sister Wah and The Cupping Room, and transport links are excellent. Even after all these years, the hotel largely remains the same. The facilities are still in good condition and don't feel outdated, which is pretty good.

SShinnylandThe hotel was exceptionally clean, and I was even upgraded to a spacious, well-appointed suite. My only minor gripe was that while the kitchen was available, it only had cups and lacked any pots, pans, or dishes, making it impossible to cook. On the bright side, the hotel offers a laundry room, which was very convenient. The only real inconvenience was that accessing the lobby and elevators from the street level required climbing stairs. This proved quite challenging for a solo female traveler with heavy luggage. Despite that, I was thoroughly satisfied with my stay! The service was absolutely top-notch! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

AAleFragolaI enjoyed my stay in Hong Kong. The room was small, but was enough space for one person with a small luggage. The room was a bit humid and the bed is not the soft type, but I could sleep comfortably. They provide a plug adaptor with USB and USB type-C, however I did not consider that I needed an adaptor for my laptop with China mainland plug type and did not bring mine, and the hotel does not provide one. The bathroom had a bit of mold in some spots, however it was clean and I guess it is normal considering Hong Kong weather and humidity. The service was good and helpful. I would have liked having complementary bottle of waters and in-site laundry room. Considering the position and the price, it is a very good accomodation option and I would stay here again.

AAnonymous UserWe arrived late night for check-in since our flight is in the afternoon, expecting to be welcomed warmly as a tourists. However, it felt and experienced different. It was as if they do not want guests in their hotel. 😅 Also, when we came up to our non-smoking room, it smelled like someone just smoked a cigarette inside, same with the hallways on the following days. I was with my baby, so I was worried sick. The room was old, but clean. It also has bathtub. They make up the room, even without requests, that’s a plus one for me, the view in the morning is so calming 🤗 Overall, it was okay for the price and location.
