We booked a room for 3 bed. It was good, but hotel is bit old and lift lobby area got carpet smell. Location wise, it is located in quiet area of west Hong Kong area, in between sai ying pun and HKU MTR. To get around , it is better to use a mixture of buses and MTR. Eg. Take bus to Hong Kong MTR and then take train to Disney land Got direct bus A10 from airport to near hotel There are some small food eateries around the hotel. But they are mostly closed after 10pm. So it is not as happening as TST or Mongkok.

First of all, the location is very close to various attractions, and public transportation is very convenient. This time I arrived in Hong Kong from the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, and the apartment was only 600 meters away after getting off the boat. Secondly, the room environment. The apartment is fully equipped and you can even cook simple meals. The key is that compared to the main hotels in Hong Kong, which are only about 20 square meters, this space is completely overwhelming. The most worth introducing is the service. The service of the apartment staff is very enthusiastic. I am used to electronic payment and did not bring Hong Kong dollars, RMB, and credit cards😅. When I needed to pay a deposit, the sister who received me provided a flexible plan without a deposit, which perfectly solved my embarrassment🥲. In addition, the power sockets in Hong Kong are different from those in the mainland. You can borrow them at the front desk without having to buy them separately. In short, the stay experience in Hong Kong this time is quite good, and it is worth writing a comment to recommend it

The apartments are in a good location and our room was quiet, so sleeping was fine. Check-in and out was very fast, and the staff are helpful. The amenities are very basic. The disappointment was the cleanliness however; the bathrooms had visible mould, shower drain was blocked and the shower tray leaked onto the floor, the TV remote was sticky and the floor was dirty. However, for the price and location it was not entirely surprising.

First of all, the location is very good, very close to Exit A1 of Sai Ying Pun MTR Station, and Winstons Coffee is next to the MTR station. The room is slightly small but very clean and comfortable, with a very delicate design and plenty of storage space. I live on the 26th floor and the view outside the window is very nice. There is a kettle, Dyson hair dryer, Bose small speaker, refrigerator, toiletries, slippers, etc. in the room. The gym, kitchen, and office area facilities are also relatively complete. The three front desk staff I met during my three-day stay were very polite, warm and friendly, and it is more suitable for single travel. (Note that you cannot check in in advance or store your luggage)

Conveniently located, comfortable hotel just a few minutes walk from Hong Kong station if you're coming into town from the airport. Rooms are relatively large and nicely appointed with a work desk, fridge and kettle with a small selection of tea and coffee samples. There's no bottled water but there's a 7/11 just a minute's walk from the foyer. Best of all, you're surrounded by a plethora of cafes and restaurants to suit all budgets.

It should be a student apartment. I am a girl who came out to play by myself. It is very safe to live here. There is only one door downstairs for entry and exit. There is always someone at the front desk at the door, and you need to swipe your card to enter and exit. There are public washing machines and restaurants, but the washing machines can only be used with Octopus. There is also a public water dispenser with hot water on the floor. The room is very clean! It is really good, small and safe! The subway is also very convenient. It takes only two minutes to walk to the subway station of Sai Ying Camp. The security uncle downstairs is very good! Very nice, I will stay here again next time I come to Hong Kong! And you can see the sea from the high floors!

Amenities: Simple yet practical. Cleanliness: Spotless. Location: Very convenient, with everything you need right downstairs. Service: The front desk staff wore a perpetually sour expression. They seemed reluctant to speak Mandarin, preferring English and Cantonese. Frankly, with such an attitude, they're unlikely to be promoted beyond their current role! Had the front desk offered service with a smile, I would honestly have no other complaints.

Advantages: 1. Good location, central area of Central, suitable for business people, convenient transportation, 10 minutes walk to Central Metro, Airport Express Hong Kong Station. There are many restaurants nearby, breakfast and dinner can be solved nearby. 2. The room is large. Compared with many Hong Kong hotels at the same price, this area is very large, about 25-40 square meters. 3. This is a hotel-style apartment with kitchen tools, similar to a home. 4. The design style is distinctive and suitable for young people.

Let me be frank, the room is tiny - like I don’t even know how one would sit on the toilet, it being that close to the shower. But that’s to be expected in Hong Kong. I had no issue with finding the hotel or checking in. The only issue I’d raise is the bedding having a slight smell to it.

The location is superb, incredibly convenient. Just take the MTR to Admiralty (Pacific Place Three), take the elevator up, and the hotel is right across the street. A male staff member at the front desk was very enthusiastic, and I noticed he was friendly to everyone. The breakfast spread covers all the basics, making it excellent value for money. While the room wasn't huge, it was spotless. I even enjoyed sleeping on the bay window, listening to the rain outside – it was quite delightful. Directly opposite, you'll find Fat Da Char Siu, and there's a charming little coffee shop next door. Even the front desk sells coffee, so you're well-covered for food, drinks, and entertainment. You'll find a Wellcome supermarket, Mannings, Marks & Spencer, and more right next door – absolutely fantastic! During check-out, I even participated in a lucky draw and won a hat and a bag, which were quite lovely!

Where to Stay in Hong Kong

  • Tsim Sha Tsui: Tsim Sha Tsui, located at the southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, is one of the most representative and bustling areas in the city. It boasts a rich historical background and a modern appearance, and is renowned for its busy commercial district and multicultural characteristics. It features luxury shopping centers, internationally renowned hotels and high-rise buildings. At the same time, it retains historical traces, with many ancient buildings and museums. Showcase Hong Kong's culture and history. And don't forget to take a stroll along the Victoria Harbour at night and enjoy the breathtaking night view of Harbour City!

Gay bars hide behind Hollywood Road graffiti, with designer hotels (1200−3000+HKD≈235-587 AUD) along the Mid-Levels Escalator. Live for 3am chilli crab with baijiu shots? This is your neon-drenched playground—but avoid NYE: LKF becomes a champagne-supernova warzone where stilettos jam in storm drains.

The tall buildings and thick bushes all seem to have fallen to one side. It's truly a wonderful feeling!

Excellent
GGuest UserI don't usually leave reviews, but the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong truly deserves one. The hotel's convenient location is a given. We stayed here for three days, and the attentive service truly left a lasting impression. The front desk staff who handled our check-in were incredibly warm and welcoming. Upon seeing we had a child, they proactively offered a small gift and thoughtfully asked if we needed an extra bed. Every time we stepped out, the housekeeping staff greeted us with a smile, which always started our day on a positive note. The room was also impeccably tidy, with even our charging cables neatly coiled. Our child left an umbrella in the lobby, and a male staff member from lost and found patiently spent over ten minutes helping us look for it, for which I felt quite apologetic. The hotel breakfast was also excellent and plentiful, with high-quality ingredients. As we were leaving, our child said they definitely want to stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, very convenient for getting around. Pacific Place and Admiralty MTR station are right downstairs, and Hong Kong Park is just across the road from the entrance. Before my trip, I emailed in Chinese to book a spa treatment, but received a response not in Chinese. Upon arrival, as soon as I got out of the taxi, I overheard hotel staff speaking in Cantonese to a colleague, saying it was too busy to help with luggage and guests should carry their own. The lobby was indeed packed during check-in. We checked in around 3 PM, but when we returned to our room at 6 PM, it still wasn't ready. The next morning, there was also a long queue for breakfast. Furthermore, the front desk knew it was our first stay but didn't inform us where breakfast was served, nor did they mention that the room had direct drinking water – we had to find both pieces of information online. In the afternoon, we left the window screen down, but when we returned, we found it open. There was also a note explaining that service couldn't be provided because the 'Do Not Disturb' light was on.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel was excellent, with direct mall access to the mall and MTR. The rooms were fresh feeling and large bathrooms. Bed was soft and amazing. Mountain view with partial harbour view was OK, but not worth paying extra for. The check-in service was very manual and slow. Given this was the holiday period, but the process when engaged was very slow. We used the swimming pool which needs a refresh when compared to the Shangri-La next door. There are good gym and also dining options.

Even though we booked a room-only rate, the hotel kindly offered a light breakfast, which was incredibly helpful for budget travelers like us. The front desk staff were not only very polite but also quite charming. The room wasn't as small as we'd anticipated, and its location is superb, just a two-minute walk to the 'Ding Ding' tram stop.
