We did not expect a 4- or 5-star hotel to allow its internet system to remain down for an entire night. This caused a long queue at check-in, and it took us almost two hours to complete the process and be escorted to our room, as the staff were unable to issue our room access card. In addition, we had booked and paid for a room for three guests. While the room did have two large beds, only two sets of amenities were provided. View from room was good though

The hotel is a bit worn out, all equipments are out dated and full of dust (as shown in pictures below). The are no sound proof, noisy when other guests talking outside room 😔 No drinking water provided in room and no water dispenser machine provided. Have to spend extra money to buy water with quite high price. Not very good stay after 7years visit😔😔😔😔

I came to Hong Kong for a concert and saw this hotel highly recommended on various platforms, so I booked it without much comparison. Even the smallest room type was surprisingly spacious, and the bathroom was very large. The hallway offered convenient space for luggage. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the MTR station, but after following directions once, I found my way easily. The back entrance is in a logistics park, which isn't exactly deserted. There are some local 'bing suts' (Hong Kong-style cafes) and a McDonald's nearby for food, so the overall location is pretty good. They provided toothbrushes, toiletries, and toilet paper, but there were no facial tissues, bathroom slippers, or international adapters, so you'll need to bring those yourself.

We were immediately impressed by the clean and welcoming lobby and room. The staff at the front desk were wonderful—very kind, helpful, and accommodating, and their ability to speak multiple languages made everything so much easier. The hotel has some great amenities, like a pool and a handy laundry room. There were invaluable water dispensers available on every floor. While the location is a bit removed from the main attractions, the reliable, free shuttle that runs every half hour made it a bit easier to get around.

This hotel is conveniently located near Disneyland. We took the hotel shuttle to the MTR station, followed by two MTR transfers to reach the park. Despite reading negative comments online and bracing myself for potential discrimination, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, patiently answering all our questions. Many even spoke Mandarin. The hotel itself was very quiet, and for the price, it offered exceptional value for money in Hong Kong. (P1: Exterior view taken from inside the hotel.)

This was a pleasant, last minute find. My family was able to get a restful night before traveling early. We were fortunate to catch two taxis at the drop off area of Ma Wan. Will definitely book when we find ourselves in the area.

Very nice hotel, however inside the room was a bit oldish furniture, not feeling very 100% clean to put my staff if it’s necessary on the floor.. nice view, with a pool.. you need to take a shuttle bus or bus to go to MRT to go to all other places, however it’s close to the airport. Staff are very respectful and friendly. Reasonable price, I will be back again however I will consider the distance from iconic spots as this was difficult when I wanted to return late as I had to take Uber which added to the price , the rest was easy and fun.

Not far from MTR but yet a bit confused when walking the first time since Google map show the longer way to walk. Overall experience is nice, worth for short trip. One thing that hotel might consider is filling drinking water point to make guests stay more easier (water vending machines almost sold out this morning).

Where to Stay in Hong Kong

  • Tsim Sha Tsui: Tsim Sha Tsui, located at the southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, is one of the most representative and bustling areas in the city. It boasts a rich historical background and a modern appearance, and is renowned for its busy commercial district and multicultural characteristics. It features luxury shopping centers, internationally renowned hotels and high-rise buildings. At the same time, it retains historical traces, with many ancient buildings and museums. Showcase Hong Kong's culture and history. And don't forget to take a stroll along the Victoria Harbour at night and enjoy the breathtaking night view of Harbour City!
  • Sham Shui Po: Neon-lit electronics graveyards hide 80HKD(≈15.6 AUD) coffin hostel beds above secret hipster cafes. Steps from the cyberpunk Apliu Street flea market (protip: hunt for retro cameras at 7am before tech geeks swarm). Hong Kong’s Khao San Road—backpackers slurp $18 fishball noodles under dystopian signage, but post-11pm, it morphs into a Blade Runner set.
  • Central & Lan Kwai Fong: By day, finance bros sprint through IFC Mall; by night, Champagne soaks historic cobblestones. Gay bars hide behind Hollywood Road graffiti, with designer hotels (1200−3000+HKD≈235-587 AUD) along the Mid-Levels Escalator. Live for 3am chilli crab with baijiu shots? This is your neon-drenched playground—but avoid NYE: LKF becomes a champagne-supernova warzone where stilettos jam in storm drains.
