A very good option overall, especially for budget travelers. I would rate the hotel 5 out of 5 for cleanliness, location, and service. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Rooms and common areas were tidy and comfortable, which makes a big difference when you are staying at a budget property. The location is excellent. It is situated very close to a metro station, which makes getting around Taipei very convenient. For travelers planning to explore the city using public transport, the location works very well. Service was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. In terms of amenities, travelers should manage expectations. The hotel provides the basics but not everything you might find in a full-service hotel. It is recommended to bring your own toiletries as only minimal items are provided in the room. Breakfast is simple and delivered as a packed option, typically something like a sandwich or a burger-style item. It is basic but perfectly adequate. One nice touch is that the hotel offers free coffee throughout the day from a coffee machine and complimentary snacks such as chips and crackers at the reception area. They also provide bottled water upon request. Overall, this is not a luxury or fancy hotel, but for budget travelers it is a very practical and comfortable choice. If you are looking for an affordable place that is clean, well located, and run by friendly staff, Tai Hope Hotel is a solid option.

The cleanliness was acceptable and consistent with the hotel’s facility rating. The location was excellent and suited our needs perfectly, as it is located right next to Taipei Main Station and can be reached in less than a 10-minute walk via the underground passage. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor, but there is no lift access, which may be inconvenient for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. However, it should not be a problem for younger guests. Overall, the hotel met our expectations and offered good value for its convenient location.

The rooms are clean. You can use the hairdryer for free. There is also free mineral water and snacks every day. You can fill the water in the lobby too. There is a window, but it's not very big. It's close to Main Station, HSR Airport, and the bus station. You can walk there. There are a lot of food stalls, and the prices are lower than in Ximending.

The hotel has everything that you will need! Free drinks and snacks at the lobby, very stable WiFi, super efficient daily housekeeping, very polite staff, great location with bus stops and subway station nearby, working elevator, plenty of food options nearby, away from the city for a good night’s rest, etc! I will definitely want to be back here the next time I’m in Taipei 💙🇹🇼

We had a wonderful stay at Green World Zhonghua and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei. The hotel's location is excellent. It is directly opposite Ximending, making it easy to explore the shopping streets, restaurants, and local attractions on foot. There is also a 7-Eleven conveniently located downstairs, and the entrance to the MRT underground station is just outside the hotel, making it very convenient to travel around Taipei. The room was comfortable and met all our needs. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. Our flight was delayed until midnight, and they kindly helped us extend our room until late evening, which made a huge difference to our travel experience. Their willingness to accommodate our request and their friendly, helpful attitude were truly appreciated. Overall, we had a very pleasant and hassle-free stay. With its unbeatable location, convenient transportation access, and outstanding customer service, Green World Zhonghua is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Taipei. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

I often travel alone and usually stay in hostels abroad, but this is my first time staying in a backpacker dorm in Taiwan. The location is super convenient, right behind the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store (Station Front Branch). Whatever you want to eat or buy, you'll find it nearby—there are tons of restaurants, local eateries, convenience stores, and drugstores. They don't provide toiletries by default, but you can buy or rent them. All the common facilities are exceptionally clean and well-maintained! 👍

Fantastic stay! The environment was spotless and tidy, and the common areas were cozy and welcoming. My bed was also very clean. The staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to help. The location is super convenient, with restaurants and public transport nearby. I met so many travelers from different places, and the atmosphere was relaxed and free-spirited. Overall, this hotel is really good value for the price, especially if you prioritise location and convenience. The room size is decent for what you pay, and the bed and sheets were fairly comfortable. The shower has excellent water pressure, and a bidet is also available. Basic amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, hot water kettle, mini fridge and hair dryer are provided. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own. The biggest advantage is definitely the location. The hotel is right above Taipei Main Station, making it extremely convenient for getting around. There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, and there’s also a large underground mall beneath the hotel/station area, so you have lots of options without needing to go far. The main downsides are that the rooms have no windows, and the soundproofing isn’t the best. You can hear quite a bit of noise from outside the room, so light sleepers may want to take note. That said, considering the price, I think it’s a very good option for a short stay in Taipei. The location and convenience more than make up for the drawbacks, and I would consider staying here again.

This is a very convenient location with plenty of food and entertainment options nearby. The young men and women at the front desk were incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and attentive. They helped us plan our itinerary and transportation for our trip to Hualien Yilan, and also shared recommendations for delicious food and fun activities there. The room was also quite neat and clean, overall everything was excellent. Definitely recommend!
