Shimoda Hot Springs Hotels

Very cost-effective hot spring hotel, very close to Shita Station, walking distance, unlike some hotels that are far away from the shuttle bus, you can rest assured to have dinner in the city. There are private soup indoors and outdoors, and the outdoor is direct hot spring water. The staff is very good and there are small snacks. The room we stayed in actually had a game console, which was a surprise. I will stay in Shida next time. There are some bugs outside the courtyard at night, you need to pay attention to it. If you turn on the lights at night, don't open the door to avoid bugs flying in. But the courtyard is beautiful and there are insect sprays in the room. It was more than ten o'clock in the morning on the check-in day. When I wanted to store my luggage, there would be no one at the front desk, and there was no call bell. I could store my luggage in the Shita Station. But because the hotel is very close to the station, the problem is not big.

This hotel rating 4.2 is really deserved! First of all, there is no seaside, just in the vicinity, there is no scenery through the window, all are houses. The equipment in the house is also very poor, old and not retro. . . . Secondly, breakfast only bread boiled white egg milk juice. There is no hot food, no tray service, it is full buffet. Eating on the first floor, there is no scenery outside. Finally, Tangchi is also a pool on the top floor, which is much worse than other soup pools in Japan. Because the price of the May Day has risen sharply, more than 800 in the evening, this price/performance ratio, think about it.

The hotel is located in a secluded area and it takes more than four hours to drive from Narita Airport, but once you enter, you will feel that it is well worth it. The environment is elegant and comfortable, the room is clean and spacious, and the private bath is great! Dinner and breakfast the next day were both served in the hotel restaurant. The ingredients were fresh and abundant, especially the famous local golden eye sea bream dishes. 

Although it was quite far from the dining place and the large communal bath in a remote room, I was able to enjoy the summer Obon holiday by freely using the cart. I was impressed by the many stars in the night sky. The bath was also good and I was able to go home with beautiful skin. The landlady came to greet me at the time of meal and asked me to change the rice. Thank you very much. It is a place I want to go again.

Amazing place to stay,aesthetic view and a great amazing dinner and breakfast ambience. I choose and booked the private villa with pool and which is good,I enjoyed the dinner foods they served us,so classy and elegant presentation. So I ordered the bottle of botega champagne which is fit for the foods they offered. Lovely it was and amazing wonderful evening. After we had a night pool with my partner and we bring our own foods and drinks champagne for the long night to celebrate our stay. I’m very satisfied for my stay at this place. This was my first in-depth visit to Shimoda, and the hotel was conveniently located just two bus stops (about a 3-minute ride) from Shimoda JR Station. Right across from the hotel, you can rent electric-assist bicycles for 2000 yen a day, which I highly recommend. The dinner and breakfast were decent, but the service was really good. My fondest memory is definitely the lobby where you can enjoy complimentary drinks like beer, sake, and even champagne!

I came here just for the luxurious buffet! The hot spring pool has indoor and outdoor areas. The indoor area is a bit simple, while the outdoor area can smell the barbecue smoke coming from the restaurant. The parking lot is a bit small, the staff will park for you so don't worry, but there is no guarantee that there will be no space. Next is the buffet part. As for the barbecue, the meat is just average, neither particularly delicious nor particularly bad. I would mainly recommend sashimi and other seafood. As for desserts, there are quite a lot of small cakes and they are delicious, but they will be picked up by everyone and look unsightly, so they are not so delicious. But you can still give them a chance 🤣. The restaurant environment is the same as other affordable all-you-can-eat restaurants, the floor is a bit sticky so be careful.

The key to the room was wobbly, and I couldn't open it unless I did it well. The moment I opened the room, I was a little worried about the smell, but there was a reset in each room and it was okay. I don't recommend it for cleanliness, but the food was delicious with a wide variety of foods. If you enter the pool in the morning, it is OK, but in the evening it will be a little dirty. The sauna temperature setting was low. I complained a lot, but the meal was really satisfying

お盆に宿泊したので一泊4万円近くしましたが部屋はとても清潔感があり、家族風呂も無料で使えるのがいいです。 素泊まりだったのでご飯は分かりませんが夜12時になるとホテルから出られなくなります。 2万円くらいで泊まれるならいいホテルだと思います。
