"This hotel was great! The location is right in front of the erhai lake, with one of the most beautiful views I have seen yet. Dali is a gorgeous city with lot's to offer, and I think this is a great location if you want to explore a bit more, not just the ancient city. I loved that in the reception they offer free tea (lose leafs, good quality) and have an entire tea ceremony table with everything you need to enjoy the view from the reception. My room was very clean, and they replaced towels and whatever was needed daily. The reception staff was very sweet. The shower had great water pressure and temperature... 5 stars for sure!"

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the South Gate of the ancient city, surrounded by a food street. Taxis and food delivery services are easily accessible. The rooms are comfortable, and the bedding is clean and just right. I booked two rooms, and both mine and my children's were great; the bedding wasn't damp at all and felt very comfortable. The hotel's interior environment is fantastic, and they even provide free clothes for photo ops – my family was taking pictures until past 10 PM on our check-in night. The breakfast is exquisite, and the taste perfectly suited for someone from northern China like me; I'd have two bowls of rice noodles every day until I was stuffed! Finally, the staff's service attitude and enthusiasm were exceptionally good and diligent. This hotel is highly recommended."

You're close to many of the central places and with DiDi taxi, it's super easy to get around from here. We will for sure book here again; we're already planning a visit back."

Facilities: The entire hotel is exquisitely decorated. The rooms are spacious and clean. I stayed in a top-floor room with a view, and the scenery was quite stunning.
Hygiene: The whole hotel is very clean; you can stay with peace of mind.
Environment: It has an elegant and fresh ancient charm style. There are also three super cute cats: two silver tabbies and one Russian Blue. The silver tabbies are very friendly and love to be petted and held – super adorable! The Russian Blue is a bit less affectionate, but if you pet her just right, you can hold her too.
Service: Absolutely top-notch service! You don't even need to plan your trip to Dali, the owner can help with everything. This is by far the best hotel service I've ever encountered. The owner's service philosophy is truly commendable.

It's very close to the South Gate of Dali Ancient City, about a four-minute walk. The owner was incredibly warm and friendly, helping us carry our luggage both ways. When we left, they even gave us flower cakes!"

"We had a fantastic 6 nights stay at this newly built hotel, we felt very much welcomed upon checking in by Mr. Li and Miss Huang, everyone at this hotel from the front desk staff to the breakfast chef were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is quite new so all facilities are very clean and modern, the room we stayed in was spacious, well equipped, comfortable bed, luxurious beddings, the room we booked has a very nice patio where we had our morning tea and evening gin and tonic, the hotel entrance is facing the old city’s 苍山门。 this hotel is perfectly located, within short walking distance from the old city, lots of great restaurants and coffee shops, the renowned local north gate food market is about 5 minutes walking distance. We had such a wonderful stay at SONGYUN Follow Your Heart. From the moment we arrived until checkout, everything felt peaceful and thoughtfully prepared.
A special thank you to our butler, Eric, for taking such good care of us. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, Google Translate made everything easy. Eric was incredibly patient, friendly and always ready to help.

From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and genuine welcome from the host and his family, making us feel right at home immediately. Our bedroom was impressively spacious and kept perfectly clean throughout our visit. The highlight, however, was the spectacular view; waking up to a panoramic vista of both the city and the lake was truly unforgettable. What really set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality. The host took care of us from the beginning until the very end of our stay, going above and beyond by even personally taking us to the bus stop when it was time to leave. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Thank you, Mr Ma, for your hospitality.

GGuest UserThis absolutely deserves a full score for a sea-view guesthouse! The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. You can watch the sunrise from your bed and see the sunset paint the lake. The 270-degree unobstructed view totally exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and all the bathroom amenities were provided. Both the guesthouse's terrace and courtyard are perfect for photos, and it's just a few steps out to the Erhai Ecological Corridor, which is super convenient for walks or cycling. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, taking care of pickup and breakfast with great attention to detail. This was the most satisfying stay I've had in Dali. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Erhai Lake. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis stay is the best ever. Not only is the guesthouse clean and beautifully located right across from Erhai Lake. But what impressed me most was the hospitality and service—especially from Joy. From picking us up at the train station, to helping us arrange an EV bike rental (even though we eventually decided not to), to personally taking us to dinner and recommending dishes, trusting us with her dog Hamburg, and specially arranging for us to be dropped off at the station when we left even though she was busy with work. Joy made sure everything was well taken care of. She is a true asset to the guesthouse: friendly, sincere in her kind gestures without expecting anything in return, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. What we admire most is that Joy treats her dog as a family member. She is truly a person filled with loving kindness and will always be blessed for this.
The part we appreciated most was getting to spend quality time with her dog, Hamburg, who brought us so much happiness and filled our days with joy. Hamburg is a loving dog with a heart of gold. Anyone especially dog lovers would truly fall in love with him. Together, Joy and Hamburg make the best combination. They brought smiles and joy to us. They are the real assets of the place. We hope they will be greatly rewarded.

Great hospitality was also shown by others on the team. Miki served us breakfast every morning with a smile and was always at the reception keeping Hamburg company. She not only looks after him but also make sure he is in good hands, safe and happily running about. Miki carried Hamburg to bid us farewell. She also updated us on Hamburg's progress daily, which we greatly appreciated. knowing that he is happy made us happy.👍
Most importantly, the owner, Krystina, made us feel at home and welcomed. She has a warm personality, is friendly, and treats her staff like family. She is also in the midst of learning English for self-improvement. She has the willingness to learn and the kind of down-to-earth attitude that most hotel owners don't. We felt comfortable being with her, and she even hosted a farewell dinner for us. What we love most is that she is an animal lover and even included Hamburg in the dinner. She has a heart full of compassion. We had a great time together, and the night ended with smiles and laughter. We started as strangers but ended as friends.🙂
We were reluctant to leave after three nights, and if given the chance, we would love to extend our stay to a week in the future. This place is truly a gem, thanks to the wonderful management and the people behind it. We will surely recommend friends to your guesthouse—it is a gem hidden in Dali.

GGuest UserI've been to Dali several times, but this is my first time staying in a traditional-style courtyard like this. The owner keeps the courtyard meticulously maintained, and there are two adorable little cats – truly an ideal cat life!
They have a good variety of room types, and there's also a large terrace on the third floor where you can overlook the distant Cangshan Mountain.
But the service here is what really stands out. Everyone affectionately calls the owner 'Sister Mo.' From booking to checking out, she was incredibly warm and friendly, offering many great recommendations for restaurants and touring routes that won't disappoint. In the mornings, you can even enjoy Sister Mo's unique Zajiangmian (Sichuan meat sauce noodles) breakfast, which perfectly suits a Sichuan palate.
I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. It's very close to the ancient city but without the hustle and bustle, making it super convenient for getting around.

Iiris_yy123I used to stay at Anlan in Sanya frequently, and that's when I fell in love with the brand. This time, I decisively booked again, and overall, I'm extremely satisfied!
Anlan pays great attention to detail, including airport pick-up and drop-off. The butler will contact you via WeChat in advance. Both the hotel's breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent, showing a lot of care! The hotel has been renovated with wood, so soundproofing isn't the best, but they thoughtfully provide earplugs. The all-female service team is outstanding; they always greet you warmly when you go out, which is very comforting!
They provide children's toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers. The 'comfort kit' in the room is super practical and I'm still using the items I took home. I don't know what brand the bedding in the room is, but it's incredibly comfortable!! Even my child was super happy with it!!
The only thing that needs improvement is the hotel room's TV. It's too old, has poor clarity, and is incredibly slow to respond. Screen mirroring often freezes, and it takes a good 10 minutes just to exit. I strongly recommend replacing it with a TV that matches the Anlan brand's quality!!!

GGuest UserOur 'butler service' means you get a dedicated butler providing one-on-one service from the moment you check in. They'll contact you in advance to confirm your arrival time, arrange shuttle pick-up, and send friendly reminders about breakfast times and other important notes via group chat.
Facilities: The hairdryer's airflow is really weak, not even as strong as the wind off Erhai Lake! The bedside lamp isn't working, but everything else is okay.
Cleanliness: Clean, tidy, and no strange smells – pretty good.
Environment: The space is large and bright. My only complaint is the view from the window isn't great.
Service: The service is excellent; anything we needed was delivered to the room very quickly, and the breakfast tasted good.
Honestly, the view from the guest room window is quite disappointing.

The price is moderate, the viewing window is super large, and the view is expansive. You’ll get great photos effortlessly. Call the front desk in advance to reserve a room with a good view. We stayed in room 8220, and the view was quite good.
