"Staying at Lanou in Fuzhou has truly been a fantastic experience. It's incredibly convenient, especially if you're just passing through on a layover. The front desk offers a generous supply of clean, disposable amenities, and Coco at the front desk provided incredibly thoughtful service. My room was very quiet and completely odor-free. The surrounding restaurants serve delicious food and are quite picturesque. This was my second stay here. Last time, I accidentally left my charger behind, and they even called to remind me – the service, as always, was absolutely superb! The environment is also fantastic. I'll definitely choose this hotel every time I visit Changle, and I've already recommended it to many friends!"

"The hotel boasts an excellent, central location. Despite being right downtown, it's surprisingly quiet and offers easy access to all major attractions. Many popular eateries and snack bars offer delivery services to the hotel, and public transportation is incredibly convenient. Plus, parking is free. The rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable. The service is incredibly thoughtful; during check-in, the staff noticed it was my family member's birthday the next day and even sent a small cake to celebrate. Fitness is also very convenient, with a 24/7 gym located downstairs. It's fully equipped with modern, new machines, and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Wushan, providing a beautiful backdrop that makes exercising even more motivating."

"Lovely hotel and often stay here, however one major concern, I wanted to book the airport transfer bus with 2 hours to spare for the next flight but was told by the receptionist that you don’t need to book it that early and she booked me into a later transfer bus, the result came with us very nearly missing our flight and if it wasn’t for the wonderful staff at the airport who allowed to go to the late book in gate we would of missed it. So the moral of the story is don’t let the receptionist of the hotel book you into a late transfer bus and cause great stress to you and very nearly missing your flight."

"The property is well located at West Lake. We stayed in the Lakeview rooms which have breathtaking views of the lake both day and night. The rooms were in excellent condition and many thoughtful features were found. The breakfast was sumptuous. The whole stay was beyond expectations."

Room cleanliness generally meets acceptable standards. 4. **Acceptable Facilities:** Rooms come with standard amenities such as air conditioning, TV, private bathrooms, and complimentary toiletries. Some room types might also offer a decent amount of space. "This was my second stay at Dongbai Hotel. The Fangxiang Room offered a great view, and the family room was very spacious. However, the soundproofing was genuinely quite poor. I could clearly hear footsteps and conversations from the hallway, and even footsteps from the room above created loud thumping noises. During this stay, we found a used cotton swab under the nightstand on the carpet in our family room, and even after daily housekeeping on the second day, there was still hair on the bathroom floor that wasn't thoroughly cleaned. The hygiene standards definitely need improvement. The location is superb, just a stone's throw from Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys). With Metro Line 1 conveniently located downstairs at Dongbai Center, it's easy to get anywhere. Overall, I was satisfied, and it's definitely my top choice hotel for visiting Fuzhou."

"The hotel is new and spotlessly clean, which made our stay very comfortable and reassuring. Whenever we contacted the front desk with an issue, it was resolved incredibly quickly, leading to a fantastic experience! I even managed to secure a sea-view room, and it was absolutely perfect!"

"The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Sanfang Qixiang, offering extremely convenient access to local dining and attractions. Upon check-in, a friendly hotel staff member warmly welcomed us and proactively assisted with our luggage. The front desk also provided a detailed introduction to the hotel's amenities, as well as nearby sights and restaurants. The afternoon tea offered a wonderful selection; the jasmine tea was an unexpected delight, and the accompanying pastries were unique and delicious. The hotel was exceptionally quiet, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable, ensuring our family had a truly restful sleep. Breakfast, served in the serene courtyard, was very picturesque. We highly recommend the light bites and tea eggs, which were a pleasant surprise. It's worth noting that the hotel's restaurant is quite renowned; in the evenings, they offer roasted and braised snacks that are absolutely perfect with a drink. Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable and unexpectedly wonderful stay!"

"I picked this hotel sight unseen before our trip. On the day we were traveling, the hotel even called specifically to confirm our arrival and upgraded us to a duplex room. The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was decent. Most importantly, the hotel's location was excellent. We mainly relied on buses and the subway for this trip, and the nearby bus stops and subway stations were very convenient. Plus, it felt like Fuzhou's attractions are quite concentrated and not too far apart. The hotel also provided complimentary hot spring tickets and a buffet. While the buffet selection wasn't extensive or particularly fancy (understandable given the price point), it was enough to fill us up. The hot springs next door were quite good; we went for two consecutive days, and my child absolutely loved it, constantly praising my hotel choice! The breakfast area even had direct access to the hot spring facility. If you don't feel like sightseeing, you could easily spend a whole day soaking there and even go for a swim. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. My child even said they want to stay here again next time we visit Fuzhou!"

"Generally we had a wonderful stay with excellent service from the staffs at the reception and breakfast.  The buggy service was great to send us to or pick us from the gantry of the street.  It was thoughtful of the hotel to provide guests hot tea or water at the reception area.  It adds convenient for any tiring and thirsty returning hotel guests. The only thing we did not enjoy was visitors from outside who walk into the Courtyard where our ground floor rooms are located.  I had a shock when a couple of guys who peep into our room only realised later they were non hotel guests.  A few times it happened with some visitors peeping as we did not close our main door for our 2 neighbouring rooms.  The management should consider using the key tapped glass door similar to the one outside the breakfast room, as visitors can still view the small MingGuo Yuen courtyard with the double storey rooms through the glass  doors.  This also helps to avoid noisy visitors disturbing our rest in the room. Lastly the breakfast was reasonable and I love the hot soup noodle with Fuzhou fishball and dumplings.  Overall its an excellent stay, convenient location to the train station and definitely the tourist street SanFanQiXiang."
