The room was spacious enough to fully open a 29-inch and a 20-inch suitcase, which, for Japan, speaks for itself in terms of value. It's very close to Maihama Station, making travel convenient, and it's a hundred times quieter than the Hilton across the street. The first floor of the Hilton was like a noisy flea market by comparison.

SelmaWI had a great overall experience staying at the Park Royal Hotel Maihama Resort Tokyo Bay for my Disney trip. (I initially considered the Hilton, but decided against it when rooms became available later, as three nights would have cost over 500 more in taxes, so I settled on this one.) The hotel is relatively new, so the facilities are clean and modern, and the pricing is reasonable. The triple room I booked was comfortable, and one of the beds was convenient for organizing my belongings.
The lobby features a charming wooden decor, creating an elegant and pleasant atmosphere. The hotel provides an exclusive shuttle bus service to and from Maihama Station and both Disney parks, making it easy to get to and from the theme parks. However, it's worth noting that this hotel is not an official Disney partner hotel, so the shuttle convenience isn't on par with the Hilton. The shuttle drop-off point isn't in the core park area, and if the shuttle is full and you can't board, you'll have to take a taxi back.
The triple room was spacious and included a microwave, which was very useful for heating food. The front desk staff were friendly and the luggage storage process was smooth. The only drawback is that the hotel doesn't offer bellhop service to deliver luggage to your room after check-in, a convenience many other hotels provide.
There's a large Lawson convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, which is super convenient for grabbing snacks and daily necessities at night. The shuttle bus has operational gaps, so sometimes I had to take a taxi to and from Maihama Station. The shuttle route goes to Disney Land first, then Disney Sea. On several occasions when returning from the parks, I couldn't easily find the pickup point and had to take a taxi back. If I stay here again, I'll need to meticulously check the shuttle schedule and stop locations in advance to plan my transportation.
As an added bonus, I requested a room near the elevator, on a high floor, with a view of DisneySea, and the hotel was able to accommodate my request perfectly.

WrinnieThis was our first trip to Japan and we had an amazing time. This hotel was amazing. The room service was great and we got our room cleaned everyday at a set time. Every evening we went back to our room the amenities were always restocked. The bath robs, pajamas and slippers were the best.
But what topped it off was the room we booked had a balcony where we were actually able to open the door and sit out there and see the amazing view.

Hanson Z.The Mountain View Garden Hotel is conveniently located near Disney. Although it's a bit of a distance from the park, the shuttle service is very convenient, so getting to and from the park is no hassle. There's a convenience store downstairs, which makes buying necessities incredibly easy. There's also a restaurant with very reasonable prices, much cheaper than inside Disney, making dining a great value. Overall, it's clean and tidy, and the service is good. I had a comfortable stay and give it a positive review.

Guest UserThis hotel has a very convenient location. It is only about a 5-minute walk from Urayasu Station (T18). There are many shops and restaurants nearby, such as Lawson, Daiso, Muji, Seiyu supermarket, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, McDonald's, and Gyu-Kaku. It is very easy to buy food and daily necessities around the hotel.
On the other side of the station, there is a shopping mall with a popular omurice restaurant called “Yellow.”
It is also easy to go to Disneyland and DisneySea. You can take a bus and arrive in about 30 minutes. There is a luggage delivery service (provided by another company) that can send your luggage to airport, which is very convenient.
Going to the airport is also simple. You can go to Kasai Station (T17) and transfer to the airport bus. The bus fare is 1,800 yen for adults and 900 yen for children.
The room has a washing machine, and you can dry your clothes in the bathroom because there is a ventilation system for drying clothes.
Overall, this hotel is very convenient and comfortable, especially for families visiting Disney.

Anonymous UserRelatively good, very good location for visiting disney parks. Overall good large room, only thing is it is a bit of an old hotel and the rooms do show age. Also, I tried both the restuarant and the breakfast buffet both, a bit too expensive for what is provided so wouldn't recommend. Nice view out of rooms too.

Excellent location. Room view facing Tokyo Bay & Mt. Fuji was stunning.
Extremely clean—-only oversight was trundle bed beneath main bed. Cover needed cleaning. But looked like it hadn’t been used in forever.
Amazing shower & Japanese-style shower room. Great reading lights at bedside—-something relatively rare.
Very comfortable stay. Hotel restaurant not vegan friendly, however. But overall location & price were great & I’d definitely stay again.
Easy 20-minute walk to Tokyo Disneyland entrance OR frequent bus rides in the vintage looking RV to Maihama Station.

Posted on Aug 15, 2026|Grande 3 Beds, 2 Doubles 1 Twins, Main Building, Balcony
EthanY_Please read my review before booking. Most reviews are filled with subjective feelings rather than objective functional details.
First, I booked a Main Building Grand Balcony Room, which is located on floors 9-11. The decor is at least 15-20 years old. There was a strong musty smell in the hallway and inside the sea-view rooms. The lighting was dim, and the facilities were outdated, making it practically uninhabitable. Based on the decor style, the standard twin and triple rooms on floors 3-5, the deluxe twin rooms, and the Main Building Grand Rooms on floors 9-11 all share a similar style, suggesting they were renovated around the same time. The room conditions were poor. After discussing with the staff, I was moved to an 8th-floor Jumbo Room, which has an ocean theme, was renovated in recent years, and offers significantly better room conditions. I recommend booking rooms on the 8th floor. Also, judging from pictures, the Park Wing rooms appear to be newly renovated, but this is just a guess; I suggest emailing the hotel to confirm.
Second, rooms are divided into garden view and sea view. The garden view allows you to see the Disneyland fireworks at night, but the daytime view is unremarkable. Choose based on whether you plan to watch fireworks inside the park.
Third, the hotel offers an airport shuttle. You can refer to the image for shuttle times from the hotel. For shuttle times from the airport to the hotel, you can scan the QR code to visit the bus official website.
Fourth, the hotel does not have a convenience store. You'll need to walk about 10 minutes to the Hilton to buy things or use Uber Eats.
Fifth, there are plenty of restaurants, but the prices are a bit high for Chinese visitors, and they don't operate late into the night.
Overall, I would book again if the price is right, but I would be very selective about the room type. For the same price, I might choose the Hilton for convenience in shopping.

The facilities are excellent and the conditions are superb, plus there's a sea view. The breakfast quality is incredibly high, almost impeccable. My only suggestion: Currently, the hotel provides a video showing the pick-up spot for the return shuttle from Disneyland. However, by the time you leave Disneyland, it's already dark and hard to see the way. Also, after a full day of fun, foreign tourists might have run out of battery or data. I recommend simply providing a Google Maps location. This way, it can be navigated offline.

Guest UserThe room was a bit small, but for a double room, we could push the beds together, which made sleeping more comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, and it's very close to Disneyland, making transport convenient. However, on day 1, around 10 PM, when we arrived at Maihama Station, we found there were no more shuttle buses (though other hotels still had their last bus), which was a bit inconvenient. We ended up having to walk all the way, and it was quite a distance.
