Jetwing Jaffna ★★★★
"The room's balcony was beautiful and quiet, with no noise. The breakfast was a buffet, and the food was quite good."
Jetwing Mahesa Bhawan ★★★★
"Our family stayed at Jetwing Mahesa Bhawan while visiting Jaffna and was blown away by the welcoming atmosphere and personalized experience. The staff led by Jannaka at Mahesa Bhawan were so friendly, creating a unique experience for all of us. The meals and snacks were delicious and cooked fresh every time. The property was excellently kept and at a good location. From morning tea, to swims at the pool at night and all the personalized meals in between our family couldn't have picked a better place to stay at while visiting Jaffna. Huge thank you to Jannaka and the staff at Jetwing Mahesa Bhawan that made our stay so memorable!"
North Gate Hotel ★★★★
"Best Hotel for family stay in Jaffna. Restaurant food is excellent. One of the best in town. The hotel is located in heart of Jaffna."
The Valampuri ★★★★
"Stay was excellent! My relative recently stayed at the Valampuri Hotel in Jaffna, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by their experience. Initially, when they mentioned the hotel, I didn't expect much in terms of size, but my perception quickly changed once I heard about their stay. First and foremost, the food was a highlight. My relative couldn't stop raving about how tasty and satisfying the meals were. Moreover, the accommodation exceeded expectations. Despite any concerns about size, the comfort and quality of the rooms were worth every penny. It's reassuring to hear that the hotel delivers on its promise of a comfortable stay. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service, particularly from a waiter named Kamalini. Their care and attention to detail made my relative feel like they were being looked after by a motherly figure, especially during breakfast. It's heartwarming to know that the staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for. Delicious food, comfortable accommodation, and attentive service made it a memorable stay. If you're looking for a hotel experience that exceeds expectations, this one comes highly recommended. Truly my entire family was happy and experienced a better location views in Jaffna."
Fox Jaffna By Fox Resorts - Boutique Heritage Luxury ★★★★
"Genuinely one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at on our travels. Lovely staff warm and welcoming. The beautiful grounds and pool created a little oasis from the heat and busyness outside."
Jaffna Heritage Hotel ★★★★
"Location is very convenient within Jaffna town close to main attractions. Service, cleanliness, atmosphere all good. Room was good spacious. But Not fully happy with food. Being a pure vegetarian place they’ve to add more varieties to the buffet given the price we are playing."
jaffna casa ★★
"Stayed at Jaffna Casa Hotel for 7 days, during my stay, the room was. Clean, spacious and comfortable. And air conditioned work well, which made the room pleasant to relax in. The bathroom was neat and came with basic toiletries and fresh towels."
The Thinnai Hotel Jaffna ★★★★
"We had a wonderful stay at The Thinnai on Palali Road in Jaffna. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were extremely friendly and warmly welcoming, which immediately made us feel comfortable. They were also very accommodating with our requests and changes, which we really appreciated throughout our stay. Our two-bedroom suite exceeded expectations, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The property is well located, making it a convenient base for exploring Jaffna. Their restaurant was also nice, offering good quality food, though slightly on the pricey side compared to other options in the area. Overall, the combination of great staff, comfortable rooms, and a pleasant atmosphere made our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend."
Jaffna Heritage Villa ★★★★
"I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Heritage Villa in Jaffna. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm and friendly welcome. One staff member who truly stood out was Piranavan, who provided exceptional customer service throughout my stay. He was always attentive, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure I had everything I needed. His genuine care and helpfulness really enhanced my overall experience. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a charming, rustic atmosphere that adds to the overall appeal of the place. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring Jaffna. The location is also great, offering easy access to nearby attractions, making it a convenient base for travelers. What I appreciated the most was the attention to detail in both the service and the facilities. The staff, led by Piranavan, ensured that all guests felt valued and well taken care of. The food at the hotel was delicious, with a good variety of local and international dishes to choose from. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Heritage Villa for anyone visiting Jaffna. It’s a wonderful place to stay!"

"A really beautifully looked after modern home with character. The guest house is great. Better still was our host Christy who showed us all the sights. Although it's not exactly complimentary, it was so relaxing to be collected from the train, guided around town and treated like family. Thanks so much."
PJ Hotels Jaffna
"Very nice place to stay. Excellent food options especially Jaffna cuisine were made exceptionally good. Rooms are clean. Good hot water shower. Very cordial and accommodative staff Some suggestions were Dining area close to the pool should have some ceiling fans Please include coffee in the room"
Green Grass Hotel & Restaurant
"The rooms are filthy and haven’t been cleaned for new guests. The beds and toilets are disgusting, and the rooms are infested with bugs, including cockroaches, small lizards, and mosquitoes. There’s no hot water in the bathroom. Additionally, the staff are rude and unprofessional. Please avoid staying here at all costs and consider paying a bit more to stay at another hotel across the road."
Yal's Town Inn
"The location is excellent as its walking distance to the train station, bus stand and shops. The atmosphere is very budget type. Considering its pricing its definitely a budget hotel and should be reviewed as such too. For a budget hotel they gave us a very clean room and a clean bathroom. The fittings are a bit old. It had hot water but never used it because of the high temperatures in Jaffna. I think its value for what they offer. Do not book with breakfast because you are at their mercy at what is provided. I thought the breakfast was below par. Service and the staff are excellent. Nice, friendly, and accommodating. The pictures are from a long time back. The place looked a bit run down. We did not mind as we spent most of the time sight seeing and only came to sleep. For that purpose this was great."
UK Inn Guest House
"Friendly staff. Good value. Laundry available reasonable price. Next to Cargills super market/chemist. Smoking hotel, corridors smokey. No hot water tap. Water not too cold in summer. No lift. Sheets, shower clean. Shifted small table to play cards, hair and grime behind. Stayed 5 nights had to ask for fresh towels. Towels on the thin side. Acceptable for the price."
