I saw the room was listed for 387 yuan and was ready to book, but at the final payment step, the system lagged for over ten seconds. By the time it refreshed, the price had immediately increased. I had previously called the hotel's front desk to confirm that the 387 yuan price included tickets and other services, but the hotel later refused to acknowledge this. I then contacted both the hotel and Ctrip customer service to resolve the issue. The customer service agent stated that the hotel denied having adjusted the price and, to avoid affecting my travel plans, advised me to book the room at the new price first. To my frustration, shortly after I booked, I found that the price had dropped again. They refused to compensate me for the price difference, claiming they'd registered my case, but I haven't been contacted by anyone since.

Chosen this hotel for its location which is located inside the Chikan resort. In terms of a hotel standard, very limited amenities. I believe the 2 blocks of propertylies used to be the hotel employees’ hostel as the setup equipped with 2 units of study table placed side by side, 2 units of super single bed, big balcony for laundry & 2 units of wardrobe. As i saw opposite ours there are properties, 3 blocks of the same properties are occupying by their hotel employees & seeing all their laundry hanging at the balcony. Anyway, they converted 2 blocks which have better view to rent out. Good idea for business income & the colour & multiple rooms given me the impression of the famous squid game.

Upon check-in, the hotel proactively upgraded us to Changsheng Hotel. The room at Changsheng was fantastic – very spacious and offered a comfortable night's sleep. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. Overall, the service was excellent. This hotel is well-suited for both friends traveling together and families with children.

The service was excellent in every aspect! The room was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast spread was generous. The complimentary tickets were a fantastic bonus! We also appreciated the 8 bottles of water provided in each room. The room itself was very practical for our family of three, with the toilet and shower areas thoughtfully separated, which offered great convenience and privacy.

The environment is great, and it's spotlessly clean. The hotel feels quite new, and the rooms are really spacious, even featuring a balcony. Being situated right in the ancient town makes exploring incredibly convenient. I would absolutely rebook for my next trip. Highly recommended!

Excellent value for money! It's very close to the North Gate, just a few minutes' walk away. It actually shares facilities with Changsheng Hotel, including breakfast, so it can get quite busy during peak breakfast hours. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, and the bedding and towels were spotless. The floor had just been mopped when I checked in, a clear sign of their cleanliness. Both the balcony and the shower room have areas for drying clothes, and the double sinks are very convenient.

Overall, it was fantastic. Given that a single ticket now costs 150, getting two tickets included with an overnight stay here makes it exceptional value for money. The concert and fireworks display on Friday night were beautiful, making it well worth staying overnight.

We originally booked the Rongan Hotel, and the balcony view there was quite good – the first picture shows just how beautiful it was! The scenery of Chikan Old Town is absolutely the best in Guangdong, no doubt! However, upon finding a few small ants in our room, the staff member, displaying an excellent attitude and great professionalism, immediately consulted with their supervisor and went above and beyond to help us switch to a room at Changsheng. A special mention goes to staff member Ma Wenlong. We booked a package deal through Trip.com, which was far more economical than booking the hotel on its own! It included entrance tickets, breakfast, and a boat trip. The performances were absolutely fantastic, with the fire show being the highlight – that alone was worth the price of admission! The only drawback was the intense heat; August in Lingnan is absolutely scorching! Visiting during autumn or winter would offer a much better experience. This place, with its stunning scenery and welcoming atmosphere, is definitely worth a return visit!

The hotel is located within the scenic area and is very quiet. We booked a double room, which was spacious enough for three people. The hotel also provided us with two complimentary tickets and two breakfasts, and a shuttle service was available. The room was spotless, with excellent wet and dry separation in the bathroom. The front desk service was superb – the staff were very warm and attentive. A truly wonderful hotel!

This retreat truly feels like a paradise, making us wish we could stay forever. Every aspect, from the immaculate facilities and thoughtful service to the delightful accommodation environment, was simply outstanding. Even under the continuous drizzle, our spirits were significantly brightened and filled with joy thanks to the thoughtfully planned activities.

The room was very clean and well-equipped. The only slight drawback was that the building's ambiance felt a bit like a dormitory. Other than that, everything was great. There was a minor issue as I had mistakenly booked the wrong check-in date, but the hotel staff provided excellent service. They, together with Ctrip's customer service, helped me successfully modify my reservation date. Much appreciated!

The room was clean, and the bathroom featured a good wet/dry separation. We enjoyed a pleasant view from the window. We were assigned to Building 2 of Rong'an Apartments, which is located down a short path behind the front desk. There were plenty of staff members, who were able to handle the crowds efficiently even during busy periods. Highly recommended. Our accommodation package included a buffet dinner at Jinlanting Restaurant. The buffet offered an extensive variety of dishes. A thoughtful touch was having individual guests (using vouchers) and tour groups handled in separate dining areas, which prevented the environment from becoming too noisy. The crayfish were very popular, and the restaurant replenished this dish more frequently than any other. I suggest adding a small night light or floor-level LED strip lighting. The main bathroom light is too bright at night, but with all the lights off, it's completely dark. We had to open the curtains to rely on the faint outdoor light for some visibility.
