Positive: Very friendly staff. The location is beautiful – both the city and the beach are easily accessible. We also received a complimentary room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. Negative: Unfortunately, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The balcony, in particular, had not been cleaned. It was covered in a lot of dust, cobwebs, and bird droppings, which somewhat marred the overall impression.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The property is immaculately clean and well-maintained, though you can tell it has a bit of an old-world charm. The lack of telephones in the rooms added to the nostalgic vibe, making it feel like a bit of a "bhul bhuliyaan" (labyrinth), but in a fun, quirky way. The hotel offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. One of the highlights was the fantastic swimming pool, a great spot to take a dip and relax. The backyard, which was beautifully landscaped, provided a serene place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. What made it even more special was how close the backyard was to the beach—it was a short walk to the shore, and the beach views from the hotel were simply stunning. The views through the hotel were equally impressive, giving you glimpses of the ocean and natural beauty from various corners of the property. It’s the kind of place where you can just lose track of time, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway with great views and a lovely atmosphere.

Location is good. Rooms are big and clean. But no room service no amenities. Service is bad. Staff is unhelpful and don’t really care. Its a 2 , max 3 star property. Not even close to 4. They charge you for using the pool. Charge you even if you want to check in 10 mind earlier. Theres no housekeeping so don’t stay longer than a night

Was initially place in a room full of damp. After getting it changes the new toilet flash was not working and the tap was flowing water very slowly. Front desk could not even help us with the luggage, stating they do not have any trolley. We then struggled up with the luggage to see a trolley parked up in the corridor. Very outdated rooms.

Really good Hotel, very close to the beach and city centre, staff was very nice to us. The only thing was that they woke us up on the first morning because they thought we were going to check out on that day and we weren’t.

The room was to small for two couples and the most downside was there was two small single beds which was disappointing my wife wasn't happy.Room was to small no tea table as I realized in the morning before I left orther rooms doors was wide open to discover there rooms was big with tea tables vey spacious double beds.Alot of crackerling noise of floor boards when trying to sleep at night. But the surrounding area really nice and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at The Royal Bath Hotel! The location is absolutely incredible—right by the sea and just a short walk to the town centre, making it perfect for exploring Bournemouth. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I’d especially like to mention Timor at reception, who was exceptionally kind and helpful!. The service overall was exceptional, would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

Antique hotel in a very good location close to the beach however no nothing is guaranteed by the hotel. There is no option to book parking (first come first serve basis), they can’t guarantee a good view to the sea even through you book a sea view room (you can end up to the side of the hotel which allows you a glimpse to the sea and that’s not what you really want and pay for). When trying to call the hotel goes to a customer service desk then they transfer you to the main reception which ends up with a dropped call several times considering the call is being charged per minute (we’re not in the 80’s, take some ownership for this please), if you finally get through they won’t be able to reserve a parking space at the hotel and guide you to park elsewhere (this you can literally do yourself without the hassle and waste of time). None of these (parking and room selection) are communicated precisely until you check in which in essence makes no sense when you want to plan your stay ahead. Overall the staff is kind and friendly so no improvement needed here, the opportunity stands for the hotel management who implement procedures and policies. The rooms have a heavy smell due to the age of the building, there is a brochure that explains refurbishment undergoing in that sense. Wifi - you can have daily access if you pay for wifi (I believe it was £7/24 hours) , this is also a thumbs down nowadays (tips: if you want to charge for wifi include this in the overall price fees so people don’t obviously pick on this or just offer it with the stay like a respectable business - a coffee shop where you spend £3 for a coffee offers it for free on a daily basis, think about it). Looking at breakfast - there is full English or cereal, oats and fruit. The terrace looks pretty nice, well looked after, a nice oasis to relax your senses listening to the sea waves. There is a chess board on a bigger scale just on the terrace, this if a nice setup and addition to the hotel vibe. Thank you for the welcoming, until next time look forward to your improvements updates.
