Hotels in Kunming Changshui International Airport, Kunming

This was the cheapest hotel we stayed at during our Yunnan trip, and also the one with the absolute best service! First, they offer subway station pick-up and airport transfer services. On the day of check-in, they send a reminder just in case you're unaware of these services. Upon arrival, you're immediately offered a glass of water, and then they thoughtfully help you arrange your airport transfer times. The room itself is fully smart-enabled, which is really impressive. But what touched us the most was that our flight was at 5 AM the next day, and we had scheduled a 4 AM airport drop-off. We came down about ten minutes early, expecting to wait a bit for the driver. To our surprise, even before 4 AM, a young man and a front desk lady were already waiting for us! They even kindly gave us two breakfast boxes to take on the road (we hadn't paid for breakfast). As soon as we stepped out of the hotel, the car was already waiting right at the entrance. The service was so incredible that we actually wondered if we really only paid 100 RMB, haha!

This hotel is indeed very close to the airport, and the pickup service was prompt. The drop-off service is at a fixed time. It seems the shuttle driver only serves this hotel, so there's no sharing with other hotels. The only minor issue was that when I checked in around 2 AM, I found a hair and a tiny eyelash on the bed. I reported it to the front desk, and they immediately gave me a new room. The breakfast was plentiful, and the front desk called ahead to remind me about my departure. I highly recommend this place if you have a layover.

I arrived at the airport late the night before, but the hotel's pick-up service was perfectly arranged. The driver was already waiting, and even proactively helped with my luggage, completely saving me the hassle of finding a taxi in the middle of the night. Upon arrival, front desk staff member #6 was incredibly friendly and polite, and check-in was very efficient. She also thoughtfully informed me of all the important details. After a long and tiring journey, the warm and thoughtful service from the staff made me feel so much better, and the room environment was also excellent. The overall service was impeccable, I highly recommend this hotel! It will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Kunming!

This stay was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is only a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. It's located in a village, which makes the location a bit off the beaten path, but that's perfectly fine as they offer airport shuttle service. We arrived at Changshui Airport at 2 AM on our first day. After collecting our luggage, we contacted the hotel for pickup. Even though it was raining heavily that night, the hotel was fantastic and was already waiting for us in the parking lot. Since we had to catch a high-speed train to Dali the next day, the hotel even dropped us off at the nearby subway station. When we returned to Kunming on our last day, we chose to stay at this hotel again. The staff here are incredibly enthusiastic; they recommended local breakfast spots and hot pot restaurants, all of which were delicious and very affordable. Because it was pouring rain that day, the hotel even went out of its way to drive us to the restaurant for dinner. The hotel is a good distance from the airport, so it wasn't as noisy at night as I expected; if you don't listen carefully, you can barely hear the planes landing. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers transiting through Kunming or those who want to be close to the airport without the noise. On a side note, dining in the village where the hotel is located is super convenient. There are restaurants within a 100-meter walk from the hotel, and the food suited our out-of-town tastes perfectly. I've included the name of the hot pot restaurant we went to; it was genuinely affordable, tasty, and the portions were generous. If I have the chance, I would definitely choose to stay here again. The only downside is that there's no place to hang clothes or towels in the room, only in the bathroom. I hope the hotel can add some racks or hooks for guests to hang their belongings.

It's right inside the airport, truly *inside*. Although the room isn't huge, it's very clean. The service during check-in was exceptionally good; both the front desk lady and another lady in uniform were all smiles. I checked in on the evening of September 9th, and the lady in uniform even helped me carry my luggage to the room. Her helpfulness, both professionally and personally, really deserves praise. What I loved even more were the eight bottles of water, haha – super satisfying! Even though breakfast wasn't included, they provided fruit and flower cakes. While the price was about 100 RMB more than other Ji Hotel branches, it's completely worth it for the sheer convenience when catching a flight.

The hotel contact me 1 day before my stay because they want to arrange airport transport if I need one which very thoughtful of them. During my stay, there's construction work in front of the hotel. The staff very thoughtful and nice. They hel to carry our luggage. The room is spacious and cozy. Free self laundry and dryer. I would recommend this hotel as the staff very nice and provide good services.

Traveling with seniors and children, our stay was excellent. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom had good non-slip features. The front desk staff was very thoughtful, even providing amenities for children. A special thank you to Manager Sun at the front desk. The hotel's location is convenient, close to the airport, making it easy to get around and find food. It was quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful stay for the whole family. It's very suitable for family trips.

The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities. The staff were warm and attentive, and there was no noise in the surroundings, which was conducive to sleep. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the station, which I didn't use, but it's a very thoughtful service, especially for travelers arriving late at night or needing to leave early in the morning. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm at the airport.

The hotel is very close to the airport, just a five or six-minute drive away. It's incredibly convenient for travel, and they even offer complimentary airport shuttle service. They can also pick up/drop off at the subway station in front of the airport. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a good wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The environment is comfortable and pleasant, the facilities are convenient, and the staff are warm and attentive. I always stay here whenever I have a layover.

A big thank you to the driver as well, who picked us up punctually despite the late hour and the rain. The breakfast selection was also very rich, delicious, and healthy! Seriously, can't recommend it enough! It was amazing!! Every aspect deserves praise; the experience was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time! (Due to time constraints, I forgot to take photos of the hotel. It was super quiet at night, even though it's near the airport, I couldn't hear any noise at all. We ordered a lot of takeout late at night, so a big thank you to the cleaning staff for tidying up; your hard work is much appreciated.)
