Good location, friendly staff, and clean room. This is the best hostel that I have ever experienced. Good value and easy to access

Excellent location. Very close to a konbini and all transport. Fast wifi. Free coffee. They provide towels and you can change your towel every day. On the 1st floor you can dry your hair with a Dyson hair dryer. There's also a hair dryer (a simple one) in the room. The shower has a shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel and a garbage bin located very conveniently. There are also swabs, tissues and paper towels. There's a fridge and washing machines for 300 yen (coin activated) and a dryer for your clothes for 100 yen. I would definitely recommend this hostel for a friend

The staff are truly amazing — kind, polite, and always ready to help, it really feels warm and welcoming. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Kyoto Station, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. Rooms are comfortable, everything is clean and well organized. I had a wonderful experience and would gladly come back again.

My solo trip was very peaceful. The bed was incredibly soft, making for a quiet night's sleep.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, conveniently located near Kyoto Station. Even though I arrived close to midnight, they offer 24-hour check-in. The staff were incredibly patient, taking the time to explain and introduce everything to each guest. I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm, which was spotlessly clean, and the bed was quite spacious. Everything was well-organized. The common area is very spacious, with many entertainment options, and the atmosphere was super relaxed. It's such a pity I only stayed for one night; I'll definitely be back next time!

Recommend to stay it's price worthy

Great time in the city with a comfortable hostel location. I enjoyed my stay there. Everything is enough in the room. Shower is on the first floor, it was quite convenient. Nice and helpful staff.

Piece Hostel Kyoto is an excellent choice for those planning to actively explore Kyoto and who value cleanliness, modern amenities in the common areas, and services. The kitchen, showers, and location are truly outstanding! However, if you plan to spend a lot of time in the room itself or ample space is critical for you, think carefully due to the very limited space in the twin rooms, the noisy ventilation, and the potential confusion around shoe storage procedures. We were satisfied overall, but the room size, ventilation noise, and the shoe incident are points worth considering when making your choice.

The receptionist is nice. The facilities are fair. The room is bigger than my very low expectation. The location is good. The worst part is there are lots of flies in the room. We didn’t open the window and the door. The flies probably comes to the room through ventilation fan. The room comes with mouldy smell. The ventilator is very noisy. The air conditioner is too cold and is blowing to our face when we sleep. I will not choose this hostel to stay next time.

This hotel is really great and very-very clean. The things is I booked the hotel during Golden Week, so it got crowded but still having a nice stay. Kyoto Station is within 5 mins walks. The kitchen and public spaces really good and nice plus it has rooftop area which you can view the surrounding street from above. Things that I think can be improves are; should added more space in the cabin for bag and things, the lights inside the cabin was to bright and unadjustable. But overall great hostel with great service, accomodation and location. I do really want to have another stay here if I ever visit Kyoto again. But maybe will be upgrade to single room, hehe.
