Hotels near Ricoh Arena, Coventry

The hotel is located inside Warwick University, which is very convenient for those who need to move around the campus. The rooms are clean and of a decent size. There is a comfortable reception hall on the first floor where you can get free water. Overall, it's a pretty good experience!

Booked this hotel for my graduation ceremony. Aside from being a bit overpriced, everything else was really good. If I ever come back to Coventry, I'd definitely consider staying here again. The location is directly opposite the university (CV) and it's a 5-minute walk to the city center where Marks & Spencer is. There are also bus stops nearby, which is very convenient. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a safe, fridge, kettle, TV, and minibar. The shower pressure was great and the water temperature was perfect. Even though it's close to the street, I didn't find it noisy. However, the hallway soundproofing isn't great, so you can hear people walking by. 💤

The first room 114 i was allocated to was not ready at 15:40. Towels on the floor and beds not made. I was allocated to another room after returning to reception to report the situation with room 114. Are rooms not checked before guests arrive. Just a thought.

The hotel is in a convenient location, with Costa, McDonald's, and TGI Fridays nearby. The staff are friendly and parking is free. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. However, the hotel is a bit old, the bathroom had a bad smell, and the room lighting is very dim. Overall, the price feels a bit high for what you get.

It was a nice big room, the bed with four-poster. The receptionists were doing their job properly. We only stayed one night, did not use all the facilities, such as bar, swimming or gym which there were available, only the restaurant. The bed is too soft, my husband was sank into it. He did not have a good night sleep.

Super comfy bed. Gorgeous hot clean spacious shower. Fluffy towels . Quiet and comfortable. Staff went the extra miles throughout our stay . Book directly for free parking (it’s £5 otherwise overnight).  Great bargain safe clean comfortable motel . Breakfast includes hot drink for £10

Best swimming pool in Conventry, extra £5 per day per visitor, so I didn’t join. Self-check in, no service. Pub and Starbucks downstairs, Friday 4pm onwards free car park until Sunday. Weekday parking fee applies.

I loved staying at the Wyken Inn, in Coventry. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left,I was made to feel very welcome. The management and all the staff were all so friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, The food was great and being a Wheelchair user, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. I would highly recommend staying here and I am looking forward to going back to stay there in May. THANKS GUYS. LYNN.

Was a nice place in abit of a rough area but was still fine. The room was really hot which you couldn’t change and being on the bottom floor we didn’t want to keep the window open. Would have possibly stayed again but the £100 deposit you have to send before your stay they don’t send back even though they said they would. I made sure the room was mostly clean and that it would just be the standard cleaning that the cleaners had to do between each guest so I could get my deposit back but after many messages and calls they won’t send it back they just keep saying they don’t have my details even after sending it multiple times. Seemed abit weird that we have to send a deposit but as no other reviews had this issue I trusted it but if you need that money back DO NOT SEND IT.
