This hotel is quite convenient if you're planning to visit attractions in the Asakusa/Ginza area. I stayed here once before when I was traveling alone, so I chose it again this time. The hotel's location is relatively convenient, with the train station right across the street. However, if you have luggage and need to use an elevator, you'll have to walk about 200 meters.
The most delightful surprise was waking up to a row of cherry blossoms right outside my window! The hotel staff were also excellent; they even walked us all the way to the laundry room. (The only minor inconvenience is that the laundry room is in a small separate building outside, and it's not a washer-dryer combo. Each time, you have to go down to the first floor and walk through a small path to get to it, which is a bit troublesome, and it gets a little dark at night…)
It's very convenient that you can buy travel passes right at the hotel front desk.
A 5-minute walk from Shimbashi Station.
Close to the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Ginza, and more, this hotel is extremely convenient for sightseeing in Tokyo.
It's also close to Tokyo Tower and located along the JR Yamanote Line, making travel very easy.
The room type is a mixed-gender dormitory room.

This hostel completely exceeded my expectations! Cleanliness is the absolute highlight: the beds are changed for every guest and are soft and tidy, and the bathrooms and common areas are meticulously cleaned daily with no blind spots, so there's never any unpleasant odor. Even germaphobes can stay here with peace of mind. The overall atmosphere is quiet, guests are considerate, and the soundproofing is excellent, making it easy to rest during the day and sleep soundly at night. The only minor drawback is the lack of an elevator, which can be a bit inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. However, the overall value for money and experience are outstanding. Friends who prioritize cleanliness and quietness can confidently choose this place.

This is my second stay in Tokyo, and the location is excellent, very close to Tsukiji subway station. It's also less than a 15-minute walk to Ginza and not far from the Tsukiji Fish Market. The room is quite spacious compared to other hotels in the same category. All my requests made during booking were met; I got a high-floor room facing south, so it was sunny every day, and it overlooked the beautiful street garden below. The room was clean, and daily housekeeping was very thorough. The front desk staff were very friendly, and communication in English was smooth. Breakfast was abundant, with both Western and Japanese options, as well as Chinese congee. I especially recommend a ramen shop near Tsukiji Market that serves delicious oyster-broth ramen; it's a great option for dinner.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The sauna, hot tub, and bathing facilities were all perfect, and evening snacks in the lounge were absolutely ideal.
The capsules are spacious and clean, and most importantly the capsule rooms are very quiet. I was in an upper bunk, which is what I prefer, and although that puts me closer to the (always-on, dim) room lights, they never kept me up.
The storage locker was very big and I really appreciated the way the physical key was tucked inside the room key/wristband, which was convenient.
If there's one thing to keep in mind, though, it's that there are no individual shower cubicles on the lodging floors, and I was kind of worried about what I would do if my period came early. That didn't happen, but it's something to keep in mind for longer trips. I stayed six nights, and everything was perfect.

Not my first time staying in this chain but the first time at this hotel.
Room was a bit more spacious and the view was better for me, cause I love a lot of natural sunlight.
Everything was perfect. Reception was so helpful with all my needs. They sent my luggage to my next hotel and it arrived next morning before midday.
Location is superb. Literally in the heart of Ginza. MITSUKOSHI right in front of the hotel just cross the road. Happy Pancake literally 1 min away, right in the next corner. Metro station right next to the entrance.

First time in Tokyo and this hotel was absolutely perfect! It's just the right size, with a smart layout, and separate shower and toilet facilities which kept things tidy and convenient. The location is super convenient for transportation – the subway is just an 8-minute walk away, making it easy to get anywhere. What a hidden gem! I loved it so much! The two large windows offer beautiful views, and being able to see the river from one side is a huge bonus! 👍👍👍 When it rained, the front desk, who were very welcoming, lent us two umbrellas. I'll definitely stay here again next time. A good hotel always means lots of people and good business! See you next time!

Highly recommended!

This is my second year in a row choosing this hotel for my Tokyo trips, and I'm still incredibly satisfied with the overall experience. From convenience and comfort to the thoughtful service details, everything feels warm and welcoming. Here are a few genuine observations:
The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Ginza. It's super convenient for shopping, and the subway station is just a short walk away, making it easy to get anywhere. Transportation is completely stress-free.
The amenities are excellent. There's a gym, a lounge area, and a hot spring on B1. I went almost every night; it was rarely crowded, almost like having the place to myself. Soaking there was incredibly relaxing and helped relieve fatigue. The attention to detail is also impressive, like the ReFa hairdryer with scalp and hair modes – it's fantastic to use. Overall, the facilities are great for families traveling with children, ensuring both adults and kids can feel comfortable.
For dining, you can choose one dish from the menu with your breakfast voucher, and the rest of the buffet items are also plentiful and delicious, catering to various international tastes. If you don't want breakfast, you can arrange with the front desk beforehand to swap your voucher for lunch and have them help with reservations (a friendly reminder: the voucher is for either breakfast or lunch; I had a little mix-up in my last few days, so just keep that in mind).
The service truly stands out. Everyone is friendly and always smiling. There are even Chinese-speaking staff, so communication was never an issue. When checking out, a staff member proactively offered to weigh my luggage and kindly advised me on the quickest route to the airport. It took about half an hour to get to Haneda Terminal 3, which was very convenient.
Regarding housekeeping, for consecutive stays, rooms are cleaned every other day. If you need fresh towels or more drinking water, a quick call to the front desk gets it handled promptly. It's clean and hassle-free.
Overall, this is a hotel where transportation, facilities, and service are all top-notch. The value for money and the overall experience are fantastic. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

I love staying at B-Ginza hotel. It is strategic location, close to many shops such as muji, itoya, gu, uniqlo, donki, loft, itoya, etc. Quiet area which is great for resting. The staffs are professional, friendly, easy to communicate & helpful (specially Robert).
I like the coffee machine which you can print the image, got several times with different ones 😁. The amenities are there in the lobby, you can take according to your needs. I also got some voucher drinks 🍺🍸.
Can’t complain about the room space since this is located in center city. They clean every 3 days but change your towel daily which it worked for us.
I booked 3 rooms for my family and they all satisfy. Definitely will come back again dan recommended for others! Thank you B-Ginza team 🙏🏻.

The room was quite spacious compared to typical Japanese hotel rooms, and since the hotel seemed newly renovated, everything felt very clean and modern.
One small downside was that there wasn’t a small table in the room where we could comfortably eat snacks or relax. There was a small corner table, which worked for doing makeup, but the layout wasn’t really convenient for eating.
The bedding and bathroom were both very nice, and the public bath was also modern and clean. However, the bath water was a bit too shallow, which was slightly disappointing.
Most of the front desk staff were friendly overall, but one male staff member at reception was quite unpleasant. He had a very expressionless attitude and spoke in a way that felt unnecessarily rude and made us feel uncomfortable.
Overall, it was a clean and comfortable stay, but the service experience at the front desk could be improved.

KkhosodaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by every aspect of the experience. The cleanliness was exceptional—everything from the room to the common areas was spotless and very well maintained. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing more than enough space to relax after a long day.
The location is another major highlight. It is very convenient and well-situated, making it easy to access nearby attractions, transportation, and restaurants. This made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.
The service was outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm and professional attitude. Their hospitality truly made a difference.
The food was also delicious, with a great variety of options and excellent quality. Every meal I had was satisfying and enjoyable.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
GGuest UserReally enjoy my stay here, the location is unbeatable since it's walking distance to many metro lines, the staffs are very friendly and accommodating, the onsen is also very clean, the juice bar in the morning and bar in the evening were also great touches. There is only one elevator but I didn't find it to be a deal breaker, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob).
Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn.
They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park.
However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay:
1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around.
2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.
SSupattra(kung)The room is small, Japanese-style11 sqm i book conneting room, The location is very convenient, close to JR. There’s a FamilyMart, AEON, and many delicious and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. You can walk to Tobu Department Store every day for shopping.
The hotel offers a welcome drink available anytime, and there is a separate onsen for men and women. In the evening at 6:00 PM, there is a free happy hour with drinks—perfect for alcohol lovers. My husband really loved it.
The amenities are also of good quality. If I visit Japan again, I would definitely choose to stay here—the price is very reasonable too.
GGuest UserHere's a review of a hotel located in the heart of Akasaka, offering easy access to two subway lines. It's a quiet business-boutique hotel with more spacious rooms than similar establishments, making it ideal for commuting to the city center or exploring Roppongi/Akasaka.
**Key Highlights (Reasons to Choose This Hotel):**
1. **Dual Subway Access + Central Akasaka – Convenient for Anywhere:**
* Approximately a 4-minute walk to Akasaka Station and a 6-minute walk to Tameike-Sanno Station, covering multiple lines for easy access to Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Tokyo Station. Haneda Airport is about 45-60 minutes away.
* Within walking distance of Roppongi, Tokyo Midtown, and Akasaka Sacas, boasting vibrant shopping and dining areas. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located downstairs, making daily life easy.
* The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it a better option for rest compared to Shinjuku or Shibuya.
2. **More Spacious and Well-Designed Rooms Than Other Japanese Hotels in the Same Category:**
* Standard rooms are approximately 15-18 sqm, larger than most business hotels in Tokyo, allowing two large suitcases to be opened without feeling cramped.
* Comfortable bedding with memory foam/low-rebound pillows. Bathrooms feature bathtubs and smart toilets, with stable water pressure and temperature. Amenities are comprehensive.
* Good natural light, with most rooms feeling bright and airy. Cleanliness is up to Japanese standards.
3. **Practical Facilities, Suitable for Long Stays/Families:**
* A coin-operated laundry room is available on the 12th floor (washing 300 JPY/drying 100 JPY), and microwaves are on multiple floors, friendly for long-term guests.
* A small, complimentary gym on the 3rd floor is a bonus for business travelers or fitness enthusiasts.
* Cribs/children's amenities can be arranged, making it family-friendly. The front desk offers multilingual service, with fluent English, and handles luggage storage/package receiving efficiently.
4. **Consistent Service, Thoughtful Details:**
* The front desk staff is enthusiastic and professional, responding quickly. Small items like chargers and hair straighteners can be borrowed, with some guests reporting feeling 'valued'.
* Free high-speed Wi-Fi is stable. Some periods offer guidance.
GGuest UserI liked this place. A pretty standard classic capsule hotel: sizeable capsule with a console, daily turnover service, large shower and onsen room with an attached steam room. Service was good: they have an army of twinks working there after hours, it was like being checked in by BTS. All issues I had with my capsule (broken lightbulb) were addressed quickly and cheerfully. Sometimes it kinda seemed like they were laughing at a few of the foreign guests, but you know what, fair. This place is kinda rules heavy, with lots of notices posted around the property. There is no eating or drinking in the capsules, and instead you have to go to this common area that feels a bit like a hospice for abandoned uncles. Vending machines, manga library, smoking cubicles, that sorta thing. Clean and tidy though, equal numbers of dudes using it for remote working and day drinking (I have a feeling that some ppl live in this place). They have the usual elaborate system of lockers and keys, but they will store your luggage for you while you are out. No need to check out in the day. Overall a chill experience. While I was staying there though some dude did have a mini breakdown about what he saw as it's shortcomings, so I just wanted to comment on that. According to him the place was disgusting. He was especially perturbed by the housekeeping service and the showers. His claim was the the toilets were dirty and that it was unacceptable to fold bedsheets on the floor. Mind you, he was having this rant at 10:30 - checkout is at 10:00, meaning that a whole stampede of airport-bound weebs had just taken spicy ramen fuelled power dumps so they could get out of there on time. Most of the day the facilities were pretty spotless in my opinion. In regards to folding the bedsheets on the floor, I dunno what in the Disney princess he was expecting, but there really isn't anywhere else to do it. I think it's unreasonable to expect little doves to come fly your linens into your capsule tbh. The capsules are literally on... the floor! What do you want? His overall complaint that the space was generally messy was a lot more valid. At this point I had a suspicion that they kind of segregated foreigners from Japanese customers. It's true, that the foreign floor was a bit of a tip - luggage thrown around, empty bottles everywhere, garbage. I went up to the Japanese floors to snoop around a bit. Spotless. (Pictures of both included for comparison) In this case I think the call is coming from inside the capsule, not really fair to hold the staff accountable to your own messy manners. His final gripe was about the showers - specifically the lack of private cubicles. Private cubicles were not advertised anywhere and Japanese onsens are pretty standardly communal spaces, so again I dunno what he wanted. Maybe a shower, with a curtain? Maybe a shower with a door? Maybe a shower with a psychic forcefield that would make his ex girlfriends forget his underwhelming junk and prevent his father from behind disappointed in him? I'm not sure. But I guess the dozen shower stations with soap, shampoo, and face wash weren't cutting it. In fact a lot of the Western guests seemed pretty pranged out by the shower situation, waiting until like two am to wash up and then scurrying around the baths with a hand towel infront of their package like a little purse. If you regret going bald, that's on you. Kinda silly, but if you are bashful maybe this also isn't the hotel for you. Unreasonable though to blame the establishment for you own shame. Anyway, that's all to say the worst part of my stay was for sure the ranting and raving from an unshowered backpacker while I was trying to have a lie in. Otherwise a pretty decent stay.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a typical budget option with nothing particularly memorable about the stay. Basic amenities were provided, but not well maintained — the soap and shampoo came in small sachets and were not consistently replenished. The pillow was quite small and overly soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
AAlex WchGood location and room is spacious.
Do select the right number of person to stay otherwise you may get charged for extra person per night.
Hotel tax is required to pay upon check in.
Staying for longer days required to put cleaning required notice otherwise room may not get clean.
GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at the 9h nine hours Akasaka. The pods were comfortable and clean and the location was very convenient. However, the common space for eating was really small. The locker space was very crammed. They also won’t store your luggage after you check out so if you’re planning to do something on between the check-out and your flight/train you need to take your luggage outside.
