Enjoy the stay in this hotel as the hotel staffs are friendly, helpful and provide excellent services. Our room face the park and it is beautiful. Hotel breakfast is excellent with great variety of choices. I will surely come back to this hotel again.

Absolutely thrilled with our stay! We'll definitely be back. The free shuttle service to/from Luoyang Airport/High-speed train station/Railway station was incredibly punctual. The complimentary minibar items can be refreshed every 4 hours; if you need anything else, just call room service. We also received a ¥50 laundry voucher. They even offer a free car wash, though we didn't utilize it. The service truly is excellent! It's a paradise for kids – they have anything you could possibly want to eat, and there's even a soft play area on the second floor.

Extremely satisfied with our stay! A friend knew we were heading to Luoyang and sent me a video, which really piqued our interest. We'd seen reviews calling the hotel's service 'next-level,' but since it was a bit older, we cautiously booked two nights. To our delight, we wanted to extend our stay the very day we arrived! Unfortunately, the front desk informed us they were fully booked, which we hadn't expected. Luckily, the hotel called us the next day to say a room had opened up, so we quickly arranged to extend. We ended up staying for a total of four nights, and our evaluation is that the hotel's service is absolutely impeccable! While the rooms might be a little small and show their age, the positives far outweigh the negatives. It absolutely deserves a five-star rating!

I simply must commend this hotel! I happened to mention to the lobby staff that my child's birthday fell during our trip to Luoyang, and the hotel team thoughtfully presented us with a lovely small cake. Originally, I had booked two different hotels to experience them both, but due to the incredibly attentive and meticulous service from the Huayang staff, we decided to spend our entire 7-day Luoyang trip at Huayang. It truly lives up to its reputation as the 'Haidilao of hotels.' Even local taxi drivers we hired for excursions couldn't stop singing praises for Huayang's service. And, as an interesting side note, a large elephant fossil now housed in the Luoyang Museum was actually discovered during the construction of the Huayang Hotel!

If I had to find one minor flaw, it would be that the toilet flush in our room was a bit weak. Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect, especially the service. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and true to their word; no request was ever too much trouble. We could freely pack up breakfast items like coffee, yogurt, and bread to take with us when we left, and they proactively offered free takeaway containers. A wonderful touch was the complimentary snacks, drinks, fruit, and milk available to order every four hours. They left small gifts after every room cleaning and also prepared gifts for guests using their pick-up/drop-off service. If a pick-up or drop-off wasn't pre-arranged, they would reimburse taxi fares to the airport or high-speed rail station, or assist with booking a taxi. My child even said they want to stay here again!

This is a challenging hotel to review, so I'll just provide an objective description of its pros and cons, and you can make your own decision. I've visited Luoyang many times, and on this trip, I finally managed to book tickets for the Luoyang Museum, bringing my kids along for a few days. Big data truly delivered – right after I secured the museum tickets, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) aggressively recommended this hotel. Frankly, most of what was shown on Xiaohongshu was accurate. The welcome staff were warm and attentive, room service was incredibly prompt, and complimentary snacks were readily available (including free beer, instant noodles, and ham sausages). But beyond that? The rooms were quite small, lacking a separate shower. The showerhead was fixed directly above the bathtub, only adjustable by angle, not position. I considered a bath, but finding a non-slip mat already in the tub, I ultimately abandoned the idea. The air conditioning was old and noisy at night. The mattress offered poor support, so those who prioritize sleep quality should be cautious. The toilet seat and lid lacked a soft-close mechanism, so you had to lower them gently to avoid a jarring noise. And the water stains on the showerhead and faucet weren't due to poor cleaning, but rather the indelible marks of time. In conclusion, this is a hotel of stark contrasts. While it provided excellent value for money with its room service for around 600 RMB a night, the limitations of its physical facilities and hardware ultimately set a ceiling on the overall experience.

An absolutely heavenly hotel! The location is superb. The service is impeccable, starting right from check-in with warm towels and hot tea. Staff personally guided us, provided a hand-drawn map, and even offered essential travel supplies. In the room, we could scan a QR code to order a free selection of fruits and snacks, as well as freshly prepared meals. They also provided various daily necessities and complimentary laundry service. The meticulous attention to every detail was truly impressive. It truly lives up to its reputation as 'the Pang Dong Lai of hotels' – a true benchmark for service excellence. Highly recommended! And dinner at the hotel was also delicious.

My stay at the Huayang Hotel during my trip to Luoyang was excellent. Every service was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, from the welcome fruit and hand-drawn maps to the station transfer, daily housekeeping, and little surprises (gifts) each day. The only minor downside was the surprisingly small bathroom. Additionally, the waiting time for the car wash I booked was far too long; I had to wait until the third day to pick up my car. It almost felt like they didn't want to provide the service.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. The customer service was exceptional—truly above and beyond my expectations.

Our best hotel in China this time! Excellent hospitality, great rooms and the best food in Luoyang. The hotel will reward you with various free services and items. The Xiyuan Park next to the hotel is a top retreat in Luoyang.

A very comfortable property with impeccable service. Some room fitout could be updated, but everything functioned as required.

I recommend staying here to families, international or domestic, for a few reasons: very friendly and professional services at check in and check out, housekeeping was top notch, the breakfast menu each morning had authentic Chinese menu. Ask about drop services if traveling by trains. The location is convenient to two malls, directly across from them. There were amazing food shops on the top floors of the Wanda Mall, where there were natives to of Luoyang eat and shop. The locals can tell definitely spot tourists. We visited the Buddhist Grottoes in Longmen and stayed in Luoyang.

Can’t say enough great things about this hotel. Probably the nicest one in all of Luoyang. Grand, clean, and all the staff were extremely friendly. We stayed in the spacious (and very affordable) family suite with 1 king and 2 singles. The staff gave my kids (4 and 6) little toys every day. When I forgot my cell phone in the room on our departure day, they sent a car to drive it to the train station to return it to me in time for our train. I would absolutely love to stay there again. Highly recommend for travelers to Luoyang.
