"The location of this hotel is average, about 5 minutes' drive from the pier in the city center, but it takes 15 minutes to walk. There are no special businesses or shopping places nearby. There is a KFC across the road and I had two meals there. The hotel was renovated about 20 years ago, so it has a very shabby luxury feel. The hotel's elevator also needs to be opened manually, which is very nostalgic and not modern at all. But it is also a hotel that meets the basic requirements."

"It costs 50 Egyptian pounds to take a taxi from the train station. It's not bad. It's opposite the Hilton. The hotel staff is quite friendly. The breakfast is simple. It's cost-effective. However, the hot water needs to be left for ten minutes before it is hot. The floor is still not that clean."

"It's close to the station, but the road to the hotel is not well-maintained (this is true throughout Egypt), so if you have large luggage, it might be better to take a taxi. The hotel will arrange anything, including felucca, balloon, and transfer to the ruins. I had already booked the balloon and transfer to the ruins, so they arranged the felucca, but the time... I think the time was a little early. I came back just as other tourists were going out to the Nile to watch the sunset... To be honest, I think I would have been more satisfied if I had directly negotiated with the boatman along the Nile at the time of the scenery I wanted to see. Hot water came out well and the water pressure was perfect. The only amenities were bar soap. There was no hair dryer in the room. I used one I brought with me, so I'm not sure if I can borrow one from the front desk. There was a bathtub, but it wasn't cleaned. In fact, the drain was clogged from the beginning, and my hair got mixed in, which was awful. The refrigerator was very cold, but I wonder if the air conditioner is controlled by the front desk? It didn't turn on even when I pressed the switch, so I asked the front desk and they turned it on for me. There is an elevator. The clogged bathtub was the worst, but the hotel staff were all so kind (I told them I needed glue and they went out of their way to buy it for me!), and it was the only relief I felt in the rip-off town of Luxor lol.
