"The hotel in orbost town on the side of A1 road is a little rustic. The location is not easy to find, mainly because the sign at the entrance of the hotel is placed in the bushes, so people can't find it. The service is good. I am worried that we will arrive late, so I have opened the room to ventilate. You can eat in the town across the road, with Chinese food and fast food, and you can buy supermarkets. Stay here overnight and fill up with gasoline tomorrow morning, because there are gas stations and hot food for sale about two hours' drive to NSW."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location right by the sea, with the pier and boat tours just a short walk away. The surroundings are beautiful. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and spotlessly clean, including outdoor BBQ grills and a kitchen, perfect for steaming and cooking freshly caught seafood. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful; knowing we were there for crabbing but didn't have equipment, they kindly lent us baskets and buckets and even helped us check the tide times. It was such a warm and welcoming gesture! 🥰 This well-equipped motel is definitely worth recommending for a holiday."

Buchan Motel

"We loved our stay at Buchan Motel. The location is great for Buchan caves. The pub and local takeaway shop is just minutes away.  Loved the breakfast they have provided us with! Everything is top notch.  The place is clean, there was a bit of fruit flies or the similar sort in the night but that’s normal for the location, so I didn’t mind at all. Kids:  We  saw a cute cat and it rubbed my leg. I patted it and it was a girl."

Metung Holiday Villas

"It's a vacation villa suitable for families or friends to gather and have fun. The kitchen is fully equipped, and you can have a barbecue in the yard. The only downside is that the location is a bit remote. The rooms are quite clean and tidy, making for a good experience."

"A very good motel. Room is big and clean. The lighting is soothing. The toilet amenities are of good quality.  There have indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Also comes with indoor spa pool.  A cosy place near the harbour.  Enjoy my stay."

Nrma Eastern Beach Holiday Park

"We really like this park. Its location is next to Eastern beach and tucked away down a side street so it was nice and quiet. The park has plenty of sites in good sections of the park. The amenities was very clean and near by. They also had a nice heated pool."
