This is the best hotel in Kurokawa! 1. Stuff is kindly meet you, explain everything and help as well as it possible. 2. Ryokan has 6(!) private bathes with different style. No extra payment,, no reservation. You can available status on your TV. During my staying there was at least one ready for use, no time all of them was using. 3. Water. Just perfect, has a right temperature and composition. Just put yourself into the bath and feel relaxed just since that second. 4. Rooms. Clean and fresh. 5. Open-air bath is cool to, for me a bit too hot. And I was the only one who use it during the dinner time. 6. I had only breakfast, but it is service in private room in dinner hall. Very delicious with various of dishes. 7. The hotel located at two sides of the river. Travelers could enjoy a scenic view from the bridge.

The reserved pick-up time was full when we arrived on the first day. When we checked out the next morning, it was raining heavily. We asked the luggage storage area at the bus station how to get there. As a result, a hotel gentleman drove us to the luggage storage area. They also took us to the bus stop in front and introduced us to where to take the bus. Thank you very much. We didn’t have to push our luggage in the wind and rain. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are very exquisite, with delicious set meals. Dining will be arranged for each guest in an exclusive room. There are many kinds of hot spring houses to choose from, and you can experience different styles.

The room environment is average, but there are many private rooms to choose from, which is very suitable for families

You can see the water lanterns on the river from the room. There are 6-7 private baths. I personally think the standing baths are very comfortable. There are 2 public baths. One big one has a good view, while the small one is a little inferior. Men and women switch places every day. The meals are normal, and everything you should have is available. You can also see the water lanterns in the restaurant at night. The back door is not far from the town center. The main entrance is actually the first one when the bus enters Kurokawa. The main entrance is hidden in the bend, so some comments say it is difficult to find. There are instructions. However, there was no email in advance to contact the station for pick-up and if there are any food allergies. Because I stayed in Shenshan Villa first, the luggage was sent to Shanzhizi by Shenshan on the second day. I went to the town for a walk and then went through the back door. It was easy to find. If you have luggage for a day, you can contact the station by yourself. It was sent to the station the next day. In short, it was not bad.

Kurokawa Hot Spring is relatively remote and has many mountain roads. The hot spring street closes at 5pm, and it’s already closed when we get there. One stay and two meals are not as rich as expected The price/performance ratio is relatively low, and I want to go out at night Once you arrive, all the lights downstairs are turned off and the hotel lobby door is locked. It turns out you can't go out casually It is worth mentioning that the scenery is really beautiful. 

There are open-air baths, large baths, and six Kakiri baths with different styles. One of the open-air baths (Sennin Bath) should be the largest among Kurokawa Onsen and can accommodate 50 people at the same time.

For families with more than 10 people, the hotel has arranged a separate large room for breakfast and dinner. In addition to the delicious food, the hotel also has a hot spring♨️ and free massage facilities. The family is very satisfied.

A traditional Japanese-style hot spring hotel, one of the largest in the town. The environment is very good. The best thing is that the service staff are very proactive and enthusiastic. The driver saw us taking the wrong road and chased us back with his car. It was very heartwarming. .
