It is really comfortable and the overall experience is good. A warm reminder, parking spaces are tight during weekends and holidays, so it is recommended to come early.

The room was large and new, with a direct sea view. It was very close to the beach, just a 3-minute walk. The hotel was well-equipped, with a shower faucet at the entrance to rinse off sand, a kids' play area, and a splash pool. The rooms had a microwave and an electric stove. There were 4 elevators. The staff were enthusiastic and provided excellent service. The breakfast was unbeatable for a hotel in this price range; the coffee machine was good quality, not those awful ones. There was also a gym and a laundry room. Anyway, I was really satisfied with the hotel. 99 points! If I had to nitpick, there are three suggestions for improvement: Firstly, the splash pool didn't have clear opening hours, and there were no signs or notices. For two out of our three days, it wasn't open. When we called the front desk, they said it wasn't open that day, but we couldn't figure out what the criteria for opening were. Secondly, I suggest adding a used towel basket in the bathroom. There was nowhere to put used towels, so we had to leave them directly on the vanity countertop. Thirdly, the showerhead holder in the bathroom seemed to have an issue; it was always loose and couldn't be fixed firmly in place. I'm not sure if we didn't know how to use it, or if it was a design flaw. Overall, however, the hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was definitely worth it, and we'll be back in the future.

This time I traveled all the way to Yangjiang. I like the seaside. I got off the train and took a taxi directly to Hailing Island. I chose a hotel near the sea, Yangjiang Guanhua Hotel (Hailing Island Dajiaowan Branch). As soon as I entered the front desk, Xiao Zhou received us and helped us check in. Xiao Zhou's service was very enthusiastic and upgraded to a sea view room for free. The room was large, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The environment was also great. You could see the sea outside the window. It felt very comfortable to live there. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. Very quiet - after CNY, but didn't hear voices at all - only the sea... I would say it should be a 5-star hotel! See hotel got many rewards 2022 and 2023. Draw back: Hot water for bath not clearly indicating, only had to turn it a little bit... No bath mat (towel). Bath outlet leaking on floor. No balcony chairs. Reception staff of evening and morning not very friendly. They did not even thank me for my compliment nor for the draw backs. @

Great location overlooking the sea. Shower and toilet room is really tiny, with absolutely no hooks or bar to hang towels or clothes. The room also has no place to hang clothes. Above all, I’ve killed 10 cockroaches in a one night stay there.

Room Extension Day: Fresh towels have been provided, paper baskets empty, which is not of course for low hotel category. We use the washing machine; after the beach visit, it was necessary because clothes and towels were wet and still fine sand. The three restaurants in the immediate vicinity have all the sea fruits in the offer. The preparation and the sub-offer is similar, the taste is different. You can try and choose. Since the hotel is quite in the middle of the island of Hailing, you can drive in a day southwest with the rented electric roller to explore hotel bourgeoises and beaches, but also higher views, To go northeast next day to visit failed Evergrande property apartments, leisure and hotel cities with huge outdoor facilities, e.g. in fall. However, a spectacular Mangroven Park with adjacent fishing ports is located further north.
