"The hotel is very pleasant and ideally located, right on the lake and next to the old town. The location is truly perfect for fully enjoying Murten on foot. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. They speak French, English, German, and Italian, which makes communication very easy and enjoyable. We had room number 3 with a city view. It was spacious and the bedding very comfortable. The only slight drawback of our stay was the soundproofing: on the street side, it's quite noisy with the passing buses. Earplugs would be a nice touch. We also ate at the hotel restaurant, and it was delicious. There are paid parking lots on both sides of the hotel, which is convenient. We recommend this hotel without hesitation."

"We stayed at this magnificent hotel and restaurant for New Year's 2024/25. The meal was delicious, and the staff very friendly. We also had a pleasant night in one of their tastefully renovated rooms with a magnificent view of the lake. The following morning, the continental breakfast buffet was very generous. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant in Murten."
