"I’ll start this off with the classic, “I typically don’t write reviews…”, but I really don’t write reviews about budget hotels, ever. I’m very lucky that I am able to travel and I love Greece. The customer service for this was just so bad I can’t help it. My wife and I recently stayed at Hara Studios & Apartments while in Paros. We knew it wouldn’t be a luxury place. In fact, we booked it because it was fairly cheap for the 5 nights we were there. This was our second time in Greece and have stayed in budget places before. But this was the first time it was truly a “get what you paid for” type of situation. We stayed in a better place in the middle of Sicily with no air conditioning. I didn’t realize just how terrible it would be. We stayed in Room 3, which is all the way up on the top of the building. They say it’s only three flights, it’s five. That really didn’t bug me, I understand it’s a Greek Island. I wouldn’t expect elevators. Like I said, we’ve stayed in budget places before so again, I can’t complain about the room itself. It was the bathroom that forced us to leave after two nights. The shower was practically unusable. Water would just spray from the shower head and soak the entire floor. The tiny curtain for the shower stuck to your skin constantly and was disgusting, it looked like it had never been washed. I brought the issue up to the lady at reception to which she responded, “the cleaning lady comes and brings fresh towels everyday”. She probably just didn’t understand what I meant. We tried to tough it out, we really didn’t want to spend more money finding a new place. It was the end of our trip and we were just going to deal with it. The next morning we found bugs in the shower from where it didn’t really dry completely, even after the cleaning lady came. We decided we were going to check out early, I told the receptionist again and that we were leaving because of the issues with the bathroom. She was nice, nothing against her. I asked if we could get refunded for the nights we didn’t stay, they could keep the deposit (that’s what it’s for), she called the hotel manager and he flat out refused to refund us for the unused nights because it was a “last minute check out”. Instead of fighting, I just walked away and sent them an email. No response. Crazy unprofessional. You would think a hotel manager would want to speak to the customer personally to resolve the issue. DO NOT STAY HERE, ever. The sheets felt like stiff dryer sheets, the pillows were overly used and flat, and the towels were god knows how old. There’s plenty of better places to stay and better parts of the island for the same price. We ended up finding a very nice AirBnB on the opposite side of the island for roughly the same price and a prettier view. Also, if you’re going to Paros, don’t stay in Naousa. It’s just a gross part of Paros in general. Insanely touristy, dirty streets and beaches, and not the friendliest locals (which I get, it’s touristy). We will "

"We stayed at Aura Suites Paros with our three kids last week. Overall it was a wonderful experience. From the very beginning Dina the GM was amazing - even at the first contact before we arrived - until the very last moment when we left - she went out of her way to make the stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible and an unforgettable experience. She has endless energy and Joie de Vivre - she’s a real asset to the business! The property is a couple of minutes up the hill out of town and is a little exposed to the northerly breeze which is a constant feature at this time of year. There was a small problem with the sink which was sorted out immediately by the team. The breakfasts were fantastic - the chef catered to our every whim. Dina spent time with us each morning helping us plan our itinerary for the day and was in contact throughout the day with further tips as needed. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending this property for a stay. We had a wonderful experience."

"The master bedroom was great, with plenty of sunlight. The second bedroom was a bit small and didn't get much sunlight. It was very cold inside when I went in early February, but it got much better after running the air conditioner for a day; it was very cold on the first day. It's very close to the beach; you can see the azure sea from the living room when you wake up. The butler only appeared on the first day; there were no other staff members afterward. However, the butler's instructions were quite comprehensive, and they even prepared basic daily necessities and some milk, eggs, and fruit, probably in case it was inconvenient to buy them. The room was very clean and tidy."

It’s such a beautiful and peaceful place with lovely and thoughtful decor and spending time by the pool in the afternoons after a day of exploring was wonderful. It was also in a great location just a 5min walk from the centre of town. We will miss our amazing chocolate croissant and coffee from the bakery on the corner on our balcony everyday!
