Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring
"The hot spring was excellent, and we really enjoyed the complimentary ice cream and late-night ramen. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options. The only downside was that the room felt a little cramped, but overall we had a very pleasant stay."
Toyoko Inn Kintetsu Nara Ekimae
"A part from the pillow a little hard, the rest all are good."
Hotel Nikko Nara
"Very close to NARA JR, nice and clean with good amenities but my automatic washer in toilet is broken. Hotel staff was friendly but not fluent in English. Good for business and travel in Nara. p.s. my friend who reserve room+breakfast said the morning buffet is good in both Japanese and Western style, might try on next visit"
Piazza Hotel Nara
"Lovely stay, great location. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and there was a tub in our room which was greatly appreciated!"
Miroku Nara by the Share Hotels
"We were here for our honeymoon and they very nicely gave us free drinks at their bar. Convenient and nice stay, with deers just right outside the restaurant. Breakfast was great! Very nice room and good to have a laundry at the basement. We really liked our stay a lot."
Ryokan Asukasou at the Entrancne of Nara Park
"Nice starbucks outside hotel"
Tenpyo Ryokan
"The room is traditional in style, and some of the design is rather odd, not always convenient. Although, maybe that's the intention, I don't know. But it was an interesting experience, and I definitely recommend it for a couple of days. The public bathhouse is a big plus; don't forget to take advantage of it."
Nara Royal Hotel
"Beautiful lobby, but ugly ceiling. need renovation"
Iroha Grand Hotel Kintetsu Nara Ekimae
"Excellent hotel — steps from the train station, easy to reach on foot (we used Google Maps). Very clean, friendly staff and a high level of service. The room was spacious and tidy: large beds, quality linens, comfortable robes and slippers, and international plug adapters provided. Bright interior, a cozy table for tea/coffee, a roomy entryway and a superb bathroom with modern fixtures. Plenty of pedestrian streets, cafés and a grocery store nearby; the deer park is within easy walking distance. Breakfast was included and enjoyable.

Nara Kasuga KANOYA
"GREAT location!Even greater service! Yuta, Mai and actually all the staff there are super friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the stay there and can't wait to the next trip there. Highly recommended!! - Steven H."
Novotel Nara
"The hotel exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, the environment was lovely, and the rooms were very clean. Best of all, you can enjoy the hot springs on the second floor every day – Japan's onsen culture is truly amazing!"
JW Marriott Hotel Nara
"When you first walk in the smell of relaxation hits you. I'm not sure what fragrance it was but absolutely loved it. We enjoyed everything about this hotel from location, food and room accommodations."
Shisui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nara
"Its heritage combined w/modernity,rooms are newly refurbished n love the outdoor self-circulated Onsen bath. Truly relaxing to bathe in winter, I haven’t slept so well in a long time. Love happy hour in 19th century structure next to hotel, champagne n truffle chees"
Hotel New Wakasa
"The hotel is wonderful! Very clean, a hot onsen right in the room on the balcony, goodie bags, a very beautiful entrance hall, a beautiful view from the rooftop. I didn't like the traditional Japanese breakfast—there just wasn't enough for my taste. A European breakfast is better."
The Deer Park Inn
"love there, thanks for there, I will be back!"
Hotel Asyl Nara
"Our room has 4 futon beds (tatami) which is comfortable to sleep in. The hotel has liquor like sake, coffee, soda water and snacks as welcome drinks for the guests which is a plus point. Distance from JR and Kintetsu train station is within 10min walking distance. On our way to the hotel we already saw some deers which is a nice surprise to us as we are yet to be near to the Nara Park."
Hotel Asyl Nara Annex
"The hotel was good — clean, spacious, and comfortable. Its location is convenient, just a short drive from Nara Deer Park. There is also free parking available for those driving. We enjoyed the dinner buffet featuring Brazilian-style grilled meats, and the food was delicious."
Super Hotel Premier Jr Nara Eki
"Excellent location right next to Nara station with a supermarket and some shops within a stone’s throw. 20min walk to Nara park with many shops along the way. Hotel lounge was very nice and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and the happy hour free flow included many sake and liquors. There’s a onsen with indoor and semi-outdoor pool. Room was no different from typical Super Hotel. Great value for money nonetheless."
Mikasa
"The scenery is beautiful, and the bed is more comfortable than expected. We booked a loft and two double rooms. The loft has a courtyard and a terrace bathtub, and the hot spring ends at 0 o'clock. There are a lot of tableware for dinner and breakfast, but they are too exquisite and I didn't eat enough. It's just average. The bathroom shower is also clean. The hotel provides kimonos for free. It's fun to wear kimonos and drink and chat in the room. There are Chinese waiters. If you bring your own wine, you will be charged a corkage fee of 2,000 yen/bottle. In the morning, after going down the mountain, you will see the deer park."
Fufu Nara
"Fufu Nara is a high-end luxury hotel and I enjoyed my stay with my m wife for our 24th wedding anniversary. Service was hearty and our Teppanyaki dinner was greeted with a dessert marking our memorable day!"
Kamenoi Hotel Nara
"There are many local Japanese tourists. The overall decoration is not the latest, the height of the corridor and the layout of the room are mostly traditional. The service level is very Japanese, and every waiter is polite. There are not many people taking a bath, probably because of the diversion of private baths. Across the small road is the ruins of Heijo Palace, where you can run and walk in the wild, and the air is good. There is no business around the hotel, and it takes twelve minutes to walk to the subway station. Fortunately, the hotel provides dinner, and each meal is seven or eight dishes, which is very rich. Toshodaiji Temple is not open, but it is not far to walk, and it takes 20 minutes to get there."
Hotel Tenpyo Naramachi
"The hotel is in a great location. The room is very nice, but with two main weaknesses: no hooks for towels, and no curtains so the sunlight will wake you up. The staff was very helpful in booking a restaurant for us, but very annoying at the end of our stay as they charged us 2000 yen when one of our bedroom cards fell in the bedroom into the space between the wooden floor and the wall! 😤😑"
APA Hotel (Kintetsu Nara Ekimae)
"We were fully booked and were upgraded to a larger room!"
Comfy Stay Sarusawaike
"Pretty and clean and right in the center."
