"My husband and I stayed at the Easter Weekend. Di, Jim and the team were amazing. They were very hospitable, friendly and courteous. We loved staying here. The breakfast was sumptuous. The beds were very comfortable. Toiletries were of good quality. There was complimentary Port Wine from Rutherglen. A good getaway from home. Will certainly come back in the future. Regards Laveena"

"Pleasantly surprised after reading some recent scathing reviews. Beautiful tranquil surrounds, in a cabin secluded by an abundance of nature. A sunken tub looking out at the greenery, as with the windows behind the bed. In fact every view looked into the forest. Wallabies and birds visiting the cabin. Plenty of wood for the fire, just ask and it appears, as with any other request. Simple breakfast of oats, oranges, tea, coffee, milk provided. A wonderful getaway."

"After a great morning/Arvo at mountain in snow and was yearning for a hot shower, we (as a couple) were provided two medium sized towels for us both. Hubby got the handtowel. Thoughtless me washed my hair and utilised all our allocated towels. Woopsy daisy. No toothbrushes, no hot choc packets, nothing wow at all _ basic. A bed in a clean room. I wonder if this was because I booked via ***********? The service at brekkie was immaculate, the blonde woman was a breathe of fresh air. Receptionist at check-in and checkout were kind."

"Wow is all I have to say! $900 for two nights and I wouldn’t even pay $30! The smell of their cleaning fluids while staying there was so overbearing wouldn’t go away even when keeping doors and windows open and even spraying glen20. Breakfast was a bloody joke! Two oranges which was mouldy and bread was stale, nothing else came with it. So much for breakfast included! Gym was unavailable and looked like it was closed for several months. The whole property was overgrown and needed a serious makeover. The push bikes were broken so couldn’t ride them properly. It states wifi to all rooms, that was a bloody lie! Only the reception had it, so we couldn’t use the tv to watch a movie as free air didn’t work! Please guys do not waste your time or money for this place!"

"We recently had a wine tasting & picnic platter at Helen & Joey’s cellar door. Overall an excellent experience. We did the Re’em Tasting and were most impressed with the quality of the wines, plus the knowledge of Nick who conducted the tasting. The cellar door is lovely, amazing Yarra Valley views. Food was good too. The restaurant was closed (we visited on a Tuesday) so we had the picnic platter which was perfect for lunch. Strongly recommended if you’re in the Yarra Valley - far exceeded our expectations."

"Would highly recommend Marysville Garden Cottages, the owners have thought of every little detail to make your stay very comfortable, even the little touches like the daffodils they left us on the table on our verandah. I had emailed Rod a few times before our stay and he was great, and happy to help and answer our questions. We stayed in the Autumn Cottage for 2 nights, the cottage was very clean, the bed was comfortable, we had a lovely fireplace which warmed up the cottage really quickly. The location of the cottages are within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We will definitely return back to stay here, and have also recommended the cottages to family and friends. If you are in the area and looking for a great place to stay in Marysville, this place is fantastic."
