"The perfect vacation for our family. We came with our 3 grown boys and their girlfriends and loved every minute. We had 3 between us. We wake up to a beautiful view of the beach and the ocean and have coffee and breakfast with the friendly helpful staff. There’s a beautiful swimming area where you can float or swim or take out the paddle boards or kayaks. We had use of the sports club up the road, and a few of the crew worked out almost every day. We did some great excursions, but one of our favorites was to the sister property Idle a While on the cliffs. It’s located almost in the center of the 7 mile beach so it’s fun to walk up and down the beach for dinner or Music or take a quick taxi ride to the cliffs to one of the amazing restaurants. This is our third time at Idle a While and we will be back again. It is very clean and safe and beautiful. Special thanks to beautiful Claudia, Anthony, Ilie and Hopeton for making us feel at home. And we loved yhe resident kitty."

"As you can see from all of the other reviews, Jah Freedom Guesthouse, along with its owner, Steve, should be on anyone's radar when selecting accommodations in and around the Negril area. The place has everything you will need vacationing in Negril. Its location is central to 7 mile beach and the cliffs. The location puts you smack in the middle of the best Negril has to offer. From "real" Jamaican food, drink, and people. You will not want for anything. He also has some of the nicest, most well-behaved, and social pets. His dogs and parrot are awesome! Now to Steve....not only has his long-time residence in Negril benefit Steve, but benefits his guests as well. His knowledge and experience with the locals, food, drinks, music, area attractions, and everything Negril is priceless. He is a great guy who goes out of his way to ensure his guests experience the "real" Jamaica. When I travel, I never want to travel as a tourist. I want to experience my destinations as a "local." Steve will deliver to your wishlist. He did for me, and I'm so grateful for that. When I return to Negril, I will most certainly be contacting Steve. "OneLove bus tour/bar crawl, last stop on the tour, great location for the sunset, great drinks and atmosphere here. Recently renovated, property is spectacular. Didn't get a chance to eat here but i did smell and see some shrimp and wings, looked amazing and smelled great. Definitely a place to stop in or even stay if given the opportunity. "

"5th time visiting this hidden gem! Arrived with family and they were not disappointed. Private villas within feet of the calm Caribbean sea! My favorite bartender, Georgia was happily serving another family. We warmly embraced and I asked for my usual "Dirty Banana" thee best in all of Negril! Room accommodations at the Lower Jungle were perfect. Rooms were clean, cool and efficient for our needs! Book now you won't be disappointed! Staff feels like family!!"
