Our stay at The Executive Inn, New Lambton was a truly lovely experience. The staff were all very friendly, courteous and helpful. The facilities are very clean and well set out and the view is calming and relaxing when taking in breakfast on the Terrace. The advantage of staying at this hotel is that it is adjoined to the Wests Club where we dined and had no worries about having that extra glass of wine or beer before driving home. Thank you to all the staff who helped make our stay so comfortable and such a pleasant experience.

Streaming tv is not always easy for some, so was annoying when want to watch something and have to stream

This place is a dump. Due to a mix up with dates I was forced to book another nights stay. The staff wouldn't honour an online rate I could find elsewhere. The girl just shrugged and said 'no we don't do that'. I could hear the manager accusing me of trying to benefit from the situation which was highly disrespectful. The pools are marked as heated but were like ice so nobody could swim. Final straw was that our cards locked us out of the room and forced us to walk all the way to reception to get new cards, were the staff member was also obnoxious and not apologetic about the card issue. By this stage we had had enough. We packed our things and left without staying the final night. My tip, stay elsewhere. This place is no better than a glorified motel.

I stayed at the Executive Inn in Newcastle recently, and while the overall experience was pleasant, one incident stood out. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, and the facilities, including the pool and on-site dining, were excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming upon check-in. However, during the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off unexpectedly, and all guests had to evacuate. We were stranded outside for about an hour with minimal communication or updates from staff, which was frustrating and uncomfortable. While I understand such incidents can happen, a clearer protocol or faster resolution would have been appreciated. Aside from this disruption, the stay was comfortable, and I would consider returning, hoping this was just a one-off occurrence.

Hotel is clean, easy to access, plenty of parking. It is a little outdated but facilities are good and would be nice in summer. Downside most of the attached facilities are closed on Sunday. Reception staff could have been more welcoming, not overly friendly.

Second time staying here. Perfect for small families. Great pool and jacuzzi. Only negative - Sofa beds wernt very comfortable but fine for the kids

I would love to give 5 however our room is a bit odd. The aircon is a split system & it was installed very low and blowing from side of the bedhead. It was blowing directly to our face and I couldn’t sleep well. Other than that, it’s a good location, lots of good food options in the Wests club and in surrounding areas. Value for mine if you’re staying with kids

What a lovely treat staying here.. definitely our new go to when in Newie.. lovely front desk lady upgraded our room for my birthday. Couldn’t have had a nicer stay & beautiful pools!
