The room was excellent – clean, quiet, and with cooking facilities, it was perfect for families with kids and making a cup of tea. The location is superb, very close to the old town, and parking is conveniently right next door. Overall, it offered incredible convenience for dining, lodging, and getting around. We are going to S Bay and we are afraid that it will be inconvenient for us to park. We had dinner at Mingsu It was also very suitable for my taste. The location is great overall! Highly recommend booking for the view — it’s absolutely breathtaking. They also provide breakfast, which is a nice touch. Just a heads-up: the weather gets pretty chilly at night and in the morning, so pack warm. It’s a bit tricky to find the place since cars can’t access inside Er Hai Lake, so I had to walk from the back of the hotel — the path was quite empty and dark, but manageable.

Absolutely loved my stay at The Lakeview! The view of the lake was simply gorgeous and truly the highlight of the experience. The room was cosy and well-equipped, with lots of thoughtful free gifts. The pillows and mattress were super comfortable, giving me a great night’s sleep. The butler was very helpful and attentive. I especially appreciated the in-room washer and dryer — such a convenience! Plus, they use Apothecary products for toiletries, which I absolutely loved. Highly recommended!
