Where do I even begin? The environment was actually quite pleasant, and the owner was very kind. However, when I woke up, I discovered bites that didn't feel like mosquito bites; they seemed to be from bed bugs. I'm still itching even now that I'm back home. I did have the window open slightly, but I can't imagine that would lead to such a problem.

While the room was a bit compact, it was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. The hotel is conveniently located near Xixin Bridge, making it an excellent choice if you're heading to Tengu Mountain. Showers and toilets are shared, and washing machines and tumble dryers are available for guest use, which makes it a fantastic option for backpackers. The owner was incredibly friendly, even offering to drive me to the attractions on Tengu Mountain. 👍👍🙏🙏

The room has everything！Clean and comfortable.U can enjoy the view outside the window. Also，there is a 7-11 convenient store in 10 minutes‘ walk.The owner of this hotel is soooooo nice！🌹🌹🌹I believe u will have a unforgettable experience in otaru just as i did .Remember if u wanna pick up，plz send the email ahead.

Stayed at Sho Inn for 1 night in Otaru. It’s a little out of the way from the Otaru station if you do not drive, but they offer shuttle service to the Otaru Canal and Otaru station when you check out! The host Hideshi was incredibly kind, even going the extra mile to bring my neck pillow, which I had accidentally left in the accommodation after check out, to the Otaru station at my preferred time that evening. It was a gesture testament of the great hospitality of the Japanese. Would definitely recommend this place especially if you’re a solo traveller / prefer your own private space instead of going to those hostels with double deckered beds and curtains!

The bed was larger than I expected. It would be great if there was a TV. I could hear a little bit of noise from the surroundings, but earplugs are provided, so if that bothers you, I recommend using them.

The whole hostel is super clean! The bed is big and very comfortable! There are free washing machines and dryers to use, and laundry detergent and bleach are provided. Very suitable for backpackers, everyone is very conscious!

After arriving at the hotel, I wanted to go to Tengu Mountain on a whim, and the boss drove me there. It was a great accommodation experience.

Facilities: There are microwaves and refrigerators in the public area, but please note that the refrigerator is small and cannot hold large items. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: The small window in the room is surprising, and it feels like an oil painting when you look out. The location is far from Otaru Station/Otaru Canal/Otaru South Station, etc. You need to take a bus to get there. There is a bus stop less than 1 minute away from the hotel. It is relatively close to Tengu Mountain and can be reached on foot. The hotel host provides pick-up and drop-off services to the above-mentioned places during the time period of 16:00-22:00.

The room is very small and the location is a bit remote, but fortunately there is a pick-up service. There are no convenience stores around, and you have to walk a long way. The toilet and shower facilities are relatively limited, and you may need to wait. It can only be said to be an economical choice.

Hokkaido is a tourist peak season in winter, and accommodation is very expensive. The hotel I stayed in in Otaru this time was very good. The room was large enough for one person, and the public washing area and toilet were very clean and full of details. I will come again next time. It is very cost-effective.

A very, very good capsule hotel. The owner picked me up at the JR station and also picked up another friend of mine. We don't live together. Every time I go out, the store will send me a message asking if I need pick-up. The uncle is a very warm-hearted person, which is very nice. I gave my uncle a small Christmas gift before leaving, I was very happy🥳
