Beautiful little hotel in centre of island, room and stay quality was very good also the service was excellent. Breakfast a little small but fresh start to this one night stay. Highly recommended.

We had a good time at the hotel, which has very attentive and nice staff, and charming common areas where they served us complimentary afternoon tea after arrival and Chinese breakfast in the morning. The restaurant suggestions by the hotel staff were good. The hotel is in an old villa, but has been renovated to nice and modern rooms.

The overall feeling is OK, but the room is too small. There is no place to eat, no table or chairs. You have to get on the bed as soon as you open the door. There is no place to sit.

Overall, this is a very good hotel. The location is a little hidden. There is a small door with vines planted on it. Cats often lie at the door. There is a courtyard at the entrance, which is also full of greenery. The sister at the front desk was very warm and gentle, and gave us a map of Gulangyu Island and meal coupons. The room is quite spacious. I live on the first floor. The environment is quite quiet. There is mosquito repellent on the table. The bathroom has a bathtub, disposable toiletries, disposable bath towels and toilet mats. The next morning, the front desk sister prepared breakfast for us~ Let me talk about some things that I am not satisfied with: there are unknown small bugs on the bed and oil stains at the end of the quilt. But for this price, I think it is acceptable. Everything else was fine. I stayed there at the end of May and there weren't many people on the island. It had rained two days before and the sky was clear. I took a walk on the beach in the evening and came back to buy some food at the snack street. The cool breeze was very comfortable.

The room was nice. The service was also very good, and the room was upgraded for us. I really like Gulangyu Island. I will come back next time if I have the chance. The kids are having fun playing on the beach.
