"What a magnificent stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a staff compliment to match. This boutique hotel is an absolute gem. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. The room was well appointed with the most comfortable bed. The two pools and jacuzzi were also beautiful. The view from breakfast overlooking the water was also a treat!"

The location is stunning, and every aspect of our stay—from the staff and service to the food and facilities—exceeded our expectations, making our honeymoon truly unforgettable. The attention to detail was exceptional, especially the turndown service and room service. Being able to enjoy breakfast on our private terrace each morning was a real highlight and made the experience feel even more special. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Having already dined at some of South Africa’s top restaurants, we had high expectations, but the quality here was just as impressive. The seafood linguine and springbok dishes were particularly memorable and among the best meals we had during our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion and would highly recommend Strandloper to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay."

" We had a wonderful stay at Paternoster Manor! The family room was ideal for our family of five, offering spacious bedrooms and a well-appointed bathroom with both a bath and shower. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was absolutely superb. The outdoor hot tub was an added treat and made the stay even more special. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!"

"It was one of the best guesthouse we ever visited. Not only the direct beach access and view, but the service was fantastic. Cooked breakfast, served with a lot of attention from the staff. Nothing was too much for them to make us comfortable and at the same time, respecting our privacy. We booked the "Salt room" which was large size room with open bathroom. The bar area is lovely, all based on trust. You take, you write, you pay at the end of the stay. We have never had such an experience. A big thank you for a wonderful stay in The Dunes. "Though the views are indeed stunning and the staff is friendly and helpful, I wouldn’t book again.. At this price, you’d expect a breakfast with more choices than just 1 hot option, juice concentrate, filter coffee and ‘ winkelbrood’ you could toast… Our biggest irritator was the so-called ‘strict no smoking policy with designated smoke-areas ‘ which turned out to be right outside on every guestroom’s balcony! So we literally had to beg the neighbours in the adjacent room to pléase refrain from smoking and vaping outside ( as I am severely asthmatic ) Which they ignored completely so goodbye view and sunshine. Why is it that those horrid smoking/vaping creatures are being so facilitated ?? Shame."

"Review for the Accommodation The location is absolutely wonderful – perfect for a relaxing stay. The rooms and common areas are excellent and very well maintained. A special highlight was the kitchen: always fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared, and absolutely delicious. One thing to keep in mind: dinner times are relatively fixed and not freely selectable. With a little flexibility, this is no problem at all – the fine food more than makes up for it. The hospitality was truly amazing and made the stay something special. I would gladly come back!"
