"The hotel is a historic building, home to many famous figures, including four presidents, such as Reagan. The interior is decorated in typical American historical style; although the decor is dated, it's still comfortable. Like most historic hotels, the rooms and bathrooms are small. It was a satisfactory stopover on the way to Billings. Badlands National Park is definitely worth seeing; the terrain is very interesting, especially the opportunity to experience it up close. I visited Mount Rushmore in the rain, and the Crazy Horse sculpture was very impressive. It's definitely worth experiencing. I hope the Crazy Horse sculpture is completed soon so I can climb it sometime."

"Grounds looked a bit rough as we entered the area, but the cabin and all around was great. Kids, grandkids loved the playset behind the cabins – kept them busy while we grilled dinner. And the grill……looked really bad and I didn’t want to use. One text and a new grill delivered within an hour!!! Loved the great service. Good location near Hill City. Highly recommended!"

"Great central Black Hills location, easy to use. Went to Mt. Rushmore for evening program- short distance to drive. Management communicated with us frequently and effectively so we had no surprises. Loft was very clean, mattress was good. My wife loved the large bathroom! Would definitely stay again. We stayed 2 nights to visit the Black Hills on our way to a wedding in Colorado."
