A hidden gem of a guesthouse discovered in Zhonglu ******* Village! The location and views are absolutely stunning; open the window to see century-old watchtowers, terraced fields, and the distant, faintly visible Mount Mordo. The rooms are clean and tidy, with warm and inviting Tibetan-style furnishings, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive, patiently recommending less-traveled photo spots. Their homemade ******* dishes and butter tea are authentic and comforting. Free from the hustle and bustle of over-commercialization, the area is shrouded in morning mist and bathed in gentle sunsets, perfect for immersing yourself in the unique rustic charm of the Jiarong ******* village. Highly recommended when visiting Zhonglu, Danba!

Guest UserTaking advantage of the fewer crowds before the May Day holiday, we planned our trip to Zhonglu ******* Village and found this guesthouse to be incredibly comfortable. We arrived from Chengdu in the evening, and the owner was very welcoming and arranged our accommodations perfectly. The third floor of the guesthouse has a spacious viewing platform where you can enjoy a whole expanse of starry sky all to yourself; the fourth floor faces Mount Mordo directly, offering a superb view! We were well taken care of as a group of two; the owner proactively asked about our needs and even recommended we try the local butter tea at breakfast. Thank you for your hospitality, and best wishes for your continued success!

I originally booked another hotel but it was fully booked, so I booked this one and was very satisfied. It seems that I made the right decision. There is a small museum inside, and the hotel itself is a landscape. The housekeeper was very enthusiastic and introduced it in detail! The auntie who cooked was also very good, and there was a cat named Joy who was so cute. Next time I go to Seda, I will stay for one night and go to see Joy. Like

We stayed with friends at this wonderful hotel and were satisfied! The rooms are cozy, clean, there is a stunning view of nature around, and the price is very pleasant. The interior of the hotel is decorated in a traditional style, which allows you to feel immersed in the local culture. In addition, the hosts are an incredibly friendly family that creates a truly homely atmosphere. They are very nice, cook delicious food and apples grow in their garden, which they treat the guests with!
The owners are also very responsive - when I forgot the cape, they brought it to me in Danba, while again treating me to delicious fruits. Special thanks for the help with transportation and willingness to help with any questions that arise! If I have the opportunity to return to the neighborhood, I will choose this hotel!

cavassinWords are not enough to describe my experience here.
Hosts are amazing. They welcomed me in their wonderful local house, and I felt like at home from the beginning. I shared the meals with them, and food was more than delicious and original! There's a garden and all the fruits and vegetables come from there. Eggs, milk, meats and butter are locally sourced. The room was spacious, very comfortable, well decorated with original ******* design. The toilet was clean and hot water was always available. There's a rooftop from where you can admire the stunning landscapes. I miss this place and my friends so much: I'll definitely go back because this place is unique and unforgettable.
Thank you for your kindness and for looking after me!

In the past two years, more and more homestays have sprung up in the village, and the facilities and environment have improved. It's very comfortable to have tea in the courtyard during the day and stroll around the village. Parking is convenient in the courtyard, and the roads up and down the mountain are in good condition. There are no charging stations in the courtyard, but nearby homestays have them (slow charging), so it's easy to get there. The owners are very welcoming, and the food is good. The room we booked was large with a great ceiling, but that's also the problem. The room only had air conditioning for heating, and even with the air conditioning on early, the room was still very cold. There was an electric blanket for sleeping, though. Everything else was quite nice.

Years later, I will still recall talking with Mr. Yongzhong on the pleasant 360-degree panoramic balcony about their beliefs and their current lives. It was a homestay experience I had never had before.

The auntie and her family were incredibly hospitable, making me feel right at home in their ******* courtyard. The auntie rode her electric scooter to the county town to pick me up, and the next morning she even took me to Zhonglu ******* Village—a long and winding mountain road, quite a journey. I ate breakfast and dinner at the courtyard, all cooked by the auntie herself; every dish was delicious, and the butter tea and steamed buns at breakfast were unforgettable. Just tell the auntie if you need anything, and she'll do her best to help. The room was actually quite spacious, and the electric blankets and quilts were warm enough that air conditioning wasn't necessary. The room was very clean, there was hot water for showering, and the hairdryer worked quite well. Although the courtyard is a bit far from Zhonglu ******* Village, it's not a problem if you're driving. I was traveling alone without a car, and the auntie would pick me up and drop me off whenever she wasn't busy, saving me time and money on finding transportation. In short, I had a wonderful time staying at the ******* courtyard; I ate well, slept well, and chatted happily with the auntie and her family. I was actually quite reluctant to leave. Wishing your aunt and her family peace and good health!

The butler upgraded us to a loft room with a bathtub. It's a Tibetan-style building, and the interior decor also has a ******* flair. You can step directly from the second floor onto a huge outdoor terrace to enjoy the views. The room was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The scenery of the ******* village is beautiful, and the food was delicious. This was the best place to stay during our entire trip through Western Sichuan with no altitude sickness. Highly recommended!

We had the most pleasant stay here. The guesthouse was a little hard to find in the dark, so the owner came outside to the parking to pick us up and even carried my bag. He was very welcoming, considerate and helpful during our stay. We had everything we needed, the room was beautifully decorated and clean. The provided traditional breakfast was outstanding (corn bread, rice porridge, cooked eggplant, cucumber salad and sour cabbage)! Most of the ingredients come fresh out of the garden. There is also a menu with many other delicious dishes that you can order for lunch and dinner. When we left, the owner organized the transport for us back to Danba and took us to the ”station”. We highly recommend staying in this wonderful guesthouse and gorgeous little town Jiaju!
