"We stayed at the Harmona Resort in Zhangjiajie and overall had a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding – the staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Special thanks to Cherry and Niki, who went above and beyond: they arranged transportation for us, including airport pick-up and rides to nearby attractions, and always greeted us with kindness and professionalism. Their excellent service truly deserves five stars. The hotel is conveniently located between the two main towns in the area. It features a beautiful pool and the landscaping is especially impressive, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The only minor downside is that the hotel feels a bit dated – with a light renovation, it could easily elevate to an even higher level. Overall, a great hotel with exceptional service and a team that made our stay very enjoyable."

"Conclusion first. It's a shame it doesn't have six stars. It's truly amazing, and they put so much effort into their B&B! After taking a taxi to the B&B's location, you have to walk 100 meters, which is completely undeveloped. Once you enter, you're instantly struck by the scenery. The decor is incredibly stylish, and I discovered the owner is the designer himself. It has four floors, and all the rooms have mountain views. We stayed in a room on the fourth floor, with a large outdoor bathtub. It was absolutely stunning. If the area is crowded, you'd be better off with a terrace. The rooms are fully equipped, and there's a washing machine in the common area. Although the owner doesn't mention it, they provide daily fruit, snacks, local tea, and free breakfast. Call to inquire. The owner, his wife, and the hostess are incredibly kind. They truly treat guests like they were in a military home, with no commercial sensibilities. This is perhaps the true meaning of B&B accommodation. The boss gave up design to start a business. He was very creative and courageous. The boss lady was gentle and beautiful. She helped us solve our daily needs. There was also their cute baby. Hehe; the noodles made by the sister in the morning were delicious and must be eaten. The brother helped us kill insects and make dinner. Hahaha. It was a great experience. Those who like to get close to nature, quiet and non-commercial uu should try it. It is worth it."

"I was very satisfied with my one-day stay and stayed another day: the B&B is in an excellent location, located in a quiet small mountain village at the foot of Tianmen Mountain. It takes only five minutes to drive to the entrance of Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area, and the B&B provides pick-up and drop-off services; the B&B has a beautiful environment, the lobby on the first floor is spacious and bright, and there is also a reading area. In the evening, I sat in the small garden in front of the courtyard and looked at the Tianmen Cave shrouded in clouds and mist from afar, and the lotus in front of the courtyard was in full bloom. Kittens were playing among the flowers and plants: the girl at the front desk of the B&B was very enthusiastic and introduced the best route for visiting Tianmen Mountain. Although many surrounding shops were closed, there were still plenty of convenient dining and drinking options, including a Starbucks and BaWang ChaJi. A lively night market, featuring various restaurants and street food, is just a 5-minute walk away, with many fruit stalls lining the street. Furthermore, the hotel offers excellent access, being only a 3-minute walk from the East Gate of the Forest Park, which is incredibly convenient."

They thoughtfully introduced and mapped out local attractions, helping us make the most of our trip. - We appreciated their transparency when sharing their offerings and discounted rates, giving us space to compare without pressure. This gave us peace of mind even before checking in. - One of the biggest highlights was how the homestay helped bridge the transportation gap. Despite the secluded location, they arranged reliable partner drivers who charged us at very competitive Didi rates, making travel easy and affordable without needing to worry about timing. - We also loved the friendly dogs and cat around the homestay. They brought so much joy and warmth, and playing with them became part of our daily routine. A special shoutout to Butler Jiang (将）, who truly went above and beyond. - Upon arrival, he noticed we had caught a cold and politely ask if he could prepare herbal tea for us. This became our daily comfort drink throughout the stay. We even felt shy asking for it so often, but he and the team kindly reminded us it was part of their care. - One unforgettable moment was during a heavy downpour. With the road under government maintenance, access to the homestay became extra challenging for that day. Butler Jiang appeared with multiple umbrellas and a buggy (not something we had seen before!). Since cars couldn’t reach the homestay directly, he walked down to escort guests personally—soaked in rain but making sure each of us stayed dry. When we got on the buggy, we realized he had even opened umbrellas to keep the seats dry. We were deeply touched by his dedication. Upon returning, we were greeted by a joyful gathering of guests enjoying a mini party at the pavilion—a sight that perfectly captured the warmth and spirit of this homestay. Another shoutout to their partnering driver sun (孙）: - After we moved to our second homestay, we once got stranded by the roadside because of Didi GPS error that made it difficult for a ride-hailing driver to locate the place. The only option offered by our then homestay was to dropped us at the base of a mountain, where we waited over 15 minutes with no success. Luckily, driver sun from Celestial Valley Homestay recognized us and offered us a ride, so we followed him back to Celestial Valley, and were warmly welcomed again with complimentary tea and another chance to enjoy the view and play with the pets. - driver sun also took on our business and brought us to the city and even took us on another round trip to a faraway attraction. We were no longer guests at that point, yet the hospitality continued. We were truly thankful for the extended service and kindness. This homestay gave us more than just a place to stay—it offered warmth, care, and unforgettable memories. It's this genuine hospitality that makes Celestial Valley such a rare gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking for heartfelt service, breathtaking views and a true home away from home."
