"The room was on the 3rd floor and has a great view of the beach and ocean. Awesome breeze and awesome vibe. It is convenient to everything on the Malecón. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Our expectations were set to "reasonable" and the Hotel did NOT disappoint. It has a nice pool, a great location, and one of the best views in Progreso. Just a great stay"

"We went to the beach with guests and they wanted to charge us a minimum consumption of 3,000 pesos if we wanted to eat on the dirty lounge chairs and the music was very loud. Overall, it's a very dirty place. If they're going to charge that much, they should maintain the quality. The waiter seemed very embarrassed by our comments, so we went to another beautiful and clean place."

"Location was the best. Right at the beach. BUT construction is going on next door and they were banging on our wall at 6am. There was a worker right on the window. When we complained at the front desk, they said it’s not them! Not even an apology. We asked the construction guy and he said another 6 months. We wanted to come back before the summer’s end but we’ll consider another place on the beach. Also no parking."

"I do want to preface this by saying we visited Progreso during the off season and we are not fluent Spanish speakers. We arrived to our hotel and despite paying for an ocean view, the ocean was almost completely blocked by the museum. The towels had stains on them, the water was very weak (I suspect the shower head needs a good deep clean) and it stayed hot for less than 10 minutes. When I inquired about getting a toured booked, the manager said he couldn't call anyone and simply pointed to a direction where a tour business was located. They did not speak English despite what it says on their page. We checked out early."
