This was my first accommodation during my 14-day trip to Shandong. There was a slight hiccup when paying the 100 RMB deposit during check-in, but after a quick Google search, I managed to complete the payment successfully (the deposit is, of course, refundable upon check-out). My first impression of the guesthouse was immediately positive, thanks to the owners' friendliness and welcoming smiles! I had originally planned a three-night stay, but due to a change in my travel plans, I ended up checking out after two nights. The capsule room is tucked away, making it incredibly quiet. The reception area near the entrance offers comfortable seating, perfect for a chat with the owners (we even took some photos together, though I won't upload them due to privacy concerns!😁). All in all, I'm truly grateful for the pleasant memories I made at my first accommodation.

The floors and corridors are covered in carpeting with a strong, stale tobacco smell. The bedroom furnishings are worn and not particularly clean, and the window was nearly impossible to open. Overall, the property is poorly maintained. On multiple occasions, we were awakened at 6 AM by loud noises from staff moving heavy equipment. The most unacceptable issue occurred at checkout: Despite leaving a 100-yuan deposit upon arrival, the staff conducted an excessively long room inspection (a practice rarely seen in modern hotels). They even photographed a tiny yellow stain on bedsheets we’d used for a week. Though they eventually returned the deposit after our protest, they continued arguing about this trivial issue—a completely unprofessional response. The only positives were: 1. The convenient location (close to the metro and beach). 2. The bedroom projector (a nice feature). Final verdict: I cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near May Fourth Square. We got an excellent deal during the May Day holiday, offering fantastic value for money. A nice bonus: you can even watch movies! Highly recommended!

Very very average and hard bed

This youth hostel is essentially an unused room from a hotpot restaurant, fitted with several second-hand capsule beds. Many are broken or dilapidated; you'd be lucky to find one that actually works. The owner is incredibly surly, acting as if he's doing *you* a favor. What's most unbelievable is that they don't allow you to use the power outlets *inside* the capsules. To save costs, they've apparently cut power to all the capsules, instead providing just one communal power strip outside. It's truly astonishing! I understand that hostels are meant to be cheap and self-service, but surely basic necessities should still be provided? If they're unwilling to offer even fundamental utilities like electricity and water, what kind of accommodation are they running? I will absolutely never return. Oh, and did I mention, no hot water, so showering is out of the question.

It's a 6-minute walk to the subway entrance, which is very convenient for visiting attractions. It's very close to May Fourth Square in Qingdao's Shinan District and has a very high cost-effectiveness.

I have stayed here many times. The price is very cost-effective in Qingdao. The merchants are very kind and the house is very clean and tidy. Every time I come here, I have a good experience!

I originally booked a space capsule, but when I arrived at the store, my aunt said there was only one room left. There is no electricity inside, so it can't charge a cell phone or anything, which is very inconvenient. Later I decided to cancel the order and book a private room so that I could at least have a better rest. For this price, the room is very simple. I can't help but ask me to come during the peak season. It is said that this location is also relatively central, so it cannot be cheap. Stayed for one night, it was okay, at least the bed was quite comfortable, I slept until dawn.
