Romantic Hotels in Jiuzhaigou

Stepping into the lobby, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and tidy it was! All the staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a polite nod and hello. While I don't feel obligated to give a five-star review, let me tell you why I did! We're quite sensitive to heat, and even though it was only a few degrees in Jiuzhaigou, we wanted to turn on the AC. However, the hotel's air conditioning only offered central heating. The front desk lady was so thoughtful and immediately brought us a portable air cooler, which was a lifesaver in that moment!

I had a great time traveling to Jiuzhaigou this time. A big reason for this was the ******* owner of the Jiuzhaigou Jenny Hotel where we stayed, a young and enthusiastic ******* woman. The hotel is a homestay type, with good decoration and complete facilities. The online reviews are very good. Because I paid attention to the reviews, I felt that it was a bit far from the main entrance of Jiuzhaigou when I checked in. I didn't expect the owner to tell us when checking in that we didn't have to worry about the hotel car picking us up and dropping us off at the scenic spots, and told us a detailed comparison map of the best routes for traveling, which was also the reason why our trip went smoothly. The unexpected surprise was that the room we checked in was only 147 yuan, but I didn't expect there was a free breakfast. The minimum two nights for two people can save at least 80 yuan, plus the shuttle bus, and the return to the bus station, these transportation costs can also save a lot, the hotel basically stayed for nothing. I was a little embarrassed. The hotel also has many ******* costumes that can be chosen for free photography, which I have experienced in the past two days. The experience is that the accommodation price is cheap, the service is enthusiastic, and the shuttle bus is handled by the hotel owner's father, who is honest and simple. This accommodation is well received!

The hotel is located on a hilltop, making it more convenient for those traveling by car. The views from the top are simply breathtaking, truly making you feel like you're ”living in the clouds” every day. While the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the bedding, cleanliness, and service are still good. The hotel also boasts its own private hiking trails, featuring alpine lakes and forests. You can spot many mushrooms along the way.

## Location and Transportation: I chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the scenic area entrance. I could walk to the park in the morning, and upon arrival, I confirmed it was indeed very close. This is a definite plus. Furthermore, there's a cluster of restaurants and shops not far from the hotel, making it convenient for dining and shopping. It's also quite close to the bus pick-up point. All these are advantages. And there's a McDonald's right downstairs, which is great for fast-food lovers. ## Parking: There's a parking lot right at the entrance, making it convenient for those arriving by car. ## Room View: I booked a twin room in advance, and it was possible to combine the beds. I had discussed this beforehand, and apparently, the most economical room type couldn't be combined, only the 'sunshine room' could. The room didn't have much of a view; outside the window was an abandoned building. ## Room Facilities: The room wasn't large, but it had everything necessary. The bathroom counter was small, and there was no place to hang towels. There was a sofa bed-like structure next to the bed, which was comfortable for sitting and reading. The overhead light was bright enough. The desk was a bit narrow, and it got cluttered easily if you put too many things on it. Also, there were too few charging outlets in the room, and the light switch combination was a bit unclear. The light directly above the bed made it hard to sleep when on, and I couldn't turn it off individually. ## Bed: The bed was quite comfortable. It would be even better if there was a small墊 between the combined beds. ## Breakfast: The breakfast spread was quite generous. Seating was limited, so it's best to go early. However, on the first day, my child's noodles were missing seasoning. When I went back to add it, a girl and a man responsible for clearing dishes took away my untouched bowl of wontons! I was shocked and asked them, 'You're clearing it before I've even finished?' My bag was still on the chair, and I hadn't even had my milk yet. Didn't they see any of that? The girl and the man just stared at me blankly, showing no apology, not even a 'sorry,' and just walked away. I was furious. Not only were they inconsiderate and wasteful, but they also refused to apologize when a guest confronted them. I then spoke to a young man, but I don't know what happened afterward. This left a very bad impression. ## Laundry Room: The hotel's laundry room was excellent. Not only were the washing machine and dryer separate, but the detergent and fabric softener were pre-dispensed, so I didn't have to add them myself, which was very convenient. Also, the dryer had three settings, and the medium setting dried clothes perfectly in twenty minutes. This was a highlight. ## Service: The person who answered my initial call wasn't particularly helpful. However, during my second call to confirm the room type, a Mr. Xu offered a complimentary breakfast for my child, which was very thoughtful. My child didn't eat much, but it was a very kind gesture. Additionally, the front desk can help purchase tickets for the 'Legend of Romance' show, which is also very convenient. In summary, the hotel maintains the quality expected of a chain hotel, and the overall service is good. However, those two individuals in the restaurant could use more training. I would consider staying here again on my next trip to Jiuzhaigou.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, the service is excellent, and the breakfast is quite substantial – the rice noodles were delicious! It's also easy to get a taxi. After booking, a staff member contacted us, and upon check-in, a concierge provided us with a Jiuzhaigou guide and hotel information. The restaurant has a good variety of dishes to order from; I highly recommend the yak hot pot. There's a supermarket right outside the hotel, which is super convenient. Overall, I had a great experience. We could contact the concierge anytime with questions, and the service was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Jiuzhaigou is absolutely stunning! The weather was perfect today, making it even more beautiful. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the service is great. It's only a 20-minute walk to the scenic area, which is super convenient. Plus, they offer complimentary coffee, milk tea, and coconut milk in the lobby. Definitely recommend it!

Hygiene: Clean and comfortable environment. Facilities: Well-equipped and high-end. Service: Friendly, attentive, and excellent service. Breakfast: Healthy and comprehensive. Location: Conveniently located near the entrance of the scenic area with easy access to taxis right outside. There are also many great restaurants nearby, and it's close to Guoda.

Facilities: The hotel parking lot is spacious, making it easy to park. The infrastructure is decent, and there are charging stations (slow charging, but a pleasant surprise as they're free). Cleanliness: The cleanliness is acceptable; at least the bedding is clean. Environment: The environment is good, with views of the mountains in front and ample natural light. Service: The front desk service is also very good, implementing a WeChat concierge service. However, I must give a special shout-out to the tall, thin guy who guides parking at the entrance – he's incredibly enthusiastic and excellent! He answers all questions and is very proactive in assisting with anything needed. He even half-runs when walking around. Breakfast: The Mianyang beef rice noodles are delicious, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. The portion size is just right, a small bowl, and you can ask for more if it's not enough. It's certainly better than what you'd find in many scenic areas. My positive review above is mainly due to the doorman and the breakfast offering.

We drove here, parking is really convenient, and there are charging piles. The staff are also very considerate, and gave a disposable toilet mat. They will also patiently remind you of the surrounding precautions and avoid pitfalls. Their yak beef soup pot on the 5th floor tastes very good. There is not much to eat around in winter, and I am too lazy to run. There are many varieties of breakfast. For this price, it is still good. In the morning, they also provide free service to the scenic spot, but you need to take a taxi when you come back, but it is also very convenient. The hotel is a little distance from the road, it is really quiet, and it is rare to have a good sleep. It is a very happy stay and I will come again if I have the chance!

Honestly, the hotel was really nice overall. The location is perfect—only about a 15-minute walk to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, which made it super easy to get there early before the crowds. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well, which is always a win after a long day of walking around. The staff were friendly too, always smiling and helpful when we had questions. The only thing that threw me off a bit was the bathroom. The toilet area has these glass walls that are pretty much see-through, so there’s not a lot of privacy if you're traveling with someone who’s not a partner or close family. It’s a bit awkward, honestly. Wish they’d at least put in a curtain or frosted glass. But aside from that, it was a solid stay. Great location, comfy bed, and nice people. Would probably stay again, just maybe not if I’m sharing a room with a friend.
