Mercure Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station)

The room was exceptionally spacious for Shanghai, and very bright. The facilities were excellent, and the staff were incredibly attentive.

Five stars for this stay! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The room was spotless, and breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Fantastic value for money; overall, it was a truly satisfying experience. I'll definitely be back!

Truly excellent. The hotel boasts a wonderful environment and the breakfast was also very good. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, with fresh air. The staff were also very charming and highly service-minded.

The hotel staff were friendly and always ready to help with any questions. The location was good, and it offered great value for money. A special shout-out to Xiao Xu and Xiao Zhang for their warm morning greetings!

We stayed for one night to conveniently catch the high-speed train the next morning. The front desk service was incredibly warm and attentive, the room was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The location isn't far from Hongqiao, but a key point to note is that if you're taking a taxi to or from Hongqiao Airport or the high-speed train station, the journey will be longer than you anticipate due to necessary detours. We tried walking from Hongqiao ourselves and realized that if you're unfamiliar with the area, finding the hotel using navigation alone is almost impossible. A taxi is highly recommended. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Facilities: Decent. Cleanliness: Good. Ambiance: Good. Service: Acceptable. Shanghai is a globally renowned modern city. It boasts incredibly convenient, fast, and comfortable transportation, distinct and prominent attractions, and a beautiful, pleasant environment. These qualities make it extremely popular and favored by both domestic and international tourists. The service attitude there is truly exceptional, absolutely superb!
