Homeinn Plus Hotel (Shanghai Wild Animal Park Huinan Subway Station)

The location is very convenient, less than a 10-minute walk to the subway. Plenty of dining options are available nearby. The hotel backs onto a residential complex, so rooms not facing the street are very quiet. The housekeeping lady was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, almost always happy to help. While there's a coffee machine in the lobby, it was a bit finicky to use. There's also only one washing machine, which often resulted in long waits. Room soundproofing is poor; I could clearly hear the TV from the adjacent room. Breakfast is not a buffet; it consisted of the same two steamed buns, one egg, and a carton of milk every single day. I was utterly fed up with it.

The room was small but clean. The bathroom featured a good wet/dry separation. However, the shower experience was poor, as the water temperature was inconsistent. The window was a faux one, with a light outside that couldn't be turned off. Even with the curtains drawn, some light still bled through. The front desk offered to provide an eye mask.

I went to Nanhui for an exam and booked a hotel close to the exam site. I have always liked their decoration and style. There is also free coffee in the lobby. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
