HanTing Hotel (Shanghai Jiangning Road Xindian)

Traveling with family, we were very pleased with our room. The front desk service was excellent.

My family and I stayed here for our trip, and everyone was extremely satisfied! The family-themed room was decorated with such a playful and charming touch, and the kids absolutely loved it. The complimentary children's toiletries and small toys were a fantastic detail. With numerous attractions nearby, getting around was incredibly convenient. The hotel garden was also lovely for an evening stroll, offering a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly patient and kind with the children as well. We'll definitely bring our family back again next time.

My request for a room upgrade was immediately denied, with the explanation that they were fully booked. When I asked for a bottle of water because I was thirsty, that was also refused, as they claimed there were already four bottles in my room. I'm a frequent guest at Hanting, and this is the first time I've encountered a staff member who flatly refused every single one of a guest's requests. Thank you for showing us another side of Hanting Hotels!

This hotel is absolutely dreadful; among all the Hanting hotels I've ever stayed at, this one completely shattered my expectations. How they have the nerve to call it a new hotel with such run-down facilities is beyond me. The first room I was assigned (a king room) was incredibly damp, the bathroom was ridiculously small, and to top it all off, the bed was directly facing the door... What kind of genius designed that? It was unacceptable, so I paid extra to upgrade to a deluxe king room. Honestly, it was just a slightly larger room; nothing else improved. We still had dilapidated floors, an ancient toilet, and a drain that wouldn't clear... It was utterly disgusting. I genuinely do not recommend this place. Seriously, for this price point (350+ RMB), I have no idea where the money went to make the hotel this terrible. Even the ceiling was leaking (in multiple spots). If you're a tourist and happen to stumble upon this review, consider yourself incredibly lucky: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!
