Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World

The highlight of the hotel is definitely its perfect location with easy access to the metro and shopping malls. The hotel is older, and although the room appears clean, it didn’t give a very fresh or spotless feeling. Not exactly dirty, just not very well-maintained. Still a comfortable stay for the convenience.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to shopping and sightseeing locations, especially the Bund and Nanjing Lu. Huge shopping mall close by. Metro is an easy walk, and drop off/pick up for airport transfers is convenient. Plenty of local cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is really nice. Clean, well appointed and meticulously clean. Special mention about the staff. So friendly and helpful. Really appreciated their ability to speak English, as our spoken Chinese wasn’t good. They helped us with so much information about local dining, shopping and sightseeing locations. We arrived very late at night to check in. The staff welcomed us and gave us a free upgrade. The room was beautiful. Very roomy, good facilities and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. We had the pleasure of dining in the revolving restaurant. Food and service were impeccable. The special chocolate globe dessert is a must have. Delicious beyond description. We stayed at the Radisson Blu for 4 nights and would happily have stayed longer. It’s clear that the hotel takes great pride in creating an atmosphere that feels both premium and warm. The Executive Lounge was a true highlight. Calm, elegant, and filled with high-quality food and drinks throughout the day. Spending our evenings there, overlooking the stunning city skyline with a glass of wine or coffee, was an unforgettable experience. Breakfast was simply exceptional a rich selection of fresh, delicious dishes, beautifully presented and constantly replenished. From made-to-order eggs to fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses, and juices every item was top quality. The staff made sure each morning started in the best way possible. But what truly made our stay special was the human touch. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to William and Judy, two incredible team members who went above and beyond for us. William, whom we met every evening, was always professional, kind, and genuinely caring. He made sure everything was perfect for us and always checked that we were comfortable and happy. His positive attitude and attentiveness made every encounter a pleasure. Judy, who greeted us every morning, was equally amazing warm, attentive, and full of energy. She personally ensured we had everything we needed and that our mornings started with a smile. Both William and Judy even shared their personal contact numbers with us, offering help at any time, which is rare and deeply appreciated. It was touching to see how much they cared about our well-being and enjoyment. We always looked forward to seeing Judy in the mornings and William in the evenings they truly made us feel at home. The hotel’s location is perfect central, convenient, and surrounded by the vibrant heart of Shanghai. We will definitely return and recommend Radisson Blu Shanghai New World to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming stay.
