It's our first time staying at Radisson collection hotel, we are glad we stayed at Shanghai Hyland collection hotel , which is right on Nanjing Street. Location is fantastic!! A short walk to The Bund.
We stayed at an executive room, and was given a room with Pearl tower view. Added benefit was the Club room , with complimentary afternoon snacks & drinks , at level 30 club level with beautiful view.
Will definitely stay here again!!

This hotel had exactly what I had hoped for. And I did a lot of research. It was close enough to the Bund to walk but far enough back to have a little quietness. But still be able to have loads of restaurants and shopping. And so clean and comfortable. And they thought of almost everything. Oh, and the beds were so comfortable. And the breakfast was absolutely incredible!

For an old hotel, the cleanliness from housekeeping and room smell is acceptable. However, the rooms are weary; there’s mould surrounding the aircon vent and the shower heads look equally as grimy. The rain shower was faulty and the shower stand can’t really hold the shower head up. Service is also subpar for a four star hotel (according to them) but they do speak English which is great—in comparison to my previous hotel in Beijing.
The location is amazing though—you’re right at the start of Nanjing Pedestrian Street. But be warned that the didi location of the hotel is wrong.
I would stay stay here if you’re on a budget but the rooms aren’t even cheap…so I wouldn’t recommend unless you really want to stay on Nanjing Street.

I really thoroughly enjoyed my experience in this hotel. As a solo traveller, I felt safe throughout my stay, with security guards on the ground floor, public police officers 公安 on the Nanjing Road, and even special forces 特警 occasionally parked on the ground floor. The location is amazing, you can take public transport + walk to almost any big attractions. Last but not least, I would like to specially commend the hotel staff I interacted with during my trip, specifically 刘阿姨 on level 11, who helped me clean my room and who has been so friendly to me since day one. She was one of the main reasons why I felt so comfortable in the hotel, and I would like to give her a shoutout. Thank you! I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting SH 🫶🏻

Amazing location as it is located right in the middle of 南京东路, a busy shopping street. It is also a walking distance to the bund and parks. The hotel is generally clean and breakfast has a wide variety. Checkin was smooth and staffs were helpful. The gift bear was adorable.

The hotel is very old. There is a misty smell on the carpet and the furniture is worn. Location is great though and it is a short walking distance away from the Bund.

Good location to visit city center. Hotel is old but still kept in good acceptable conditions.
Check-in process too long and i was expecting a bit better breakfast. It was not bad but missing something.
