Shanghai International Exhibition Center Manxin Hotel

This hotel is located directly at the Lidoway, 夏都小镇 (xià dū xiǎo zhèn) in Shanghai Qingpu, about 15 minutes by Taxi from Shanghai Hongqiao airport. It has a very nice Chinese style, unlike the many western hotels that are the same everywhere in the world. The rooms are spacious, the interior design is beautiful, both inside the rooms and in the lobby, bar and restaurant. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The pricing is very reasonable. The Lidoway is an pedestrian area with several nice shops, many (western style) restaurants and some bars. I can recommend this hotel for business travels as well as for leisure.

The hotel is located in Xiadu town, making it very convenient, especially for dining. Restaurants in Xiadu town offer a wide selection of Chinese and Western cousins for you to explore every day, so you never get tired of the menu. The rooms are spacious, bright, and thoughtfully designed, providing a very comfortable stay. What really stands out is the front desk service. Any issues I had were resolved immediately, and even when I was away from the hotel, a quick phone call got me the help I needed right away. It felt like having a personal concierge. From the moment you arrive, the hotel feels warm and welcoming—almost like coming home. A special mention to Ms. Yao at the front desk, who always seemed to anticipate guest needs, handled everything efficiently, and made my stay stress-free.
