Moxi Homestay (Shanghai Huaihai Middle Road)

The location was exactly what I needed. The process the get in was easy. Comfortable and with a nice view of the street. And there is even a Michelin restaurant next to it. Definitely a good place to stay.

Very basic room, pretty spacious for 1 or 2 people (bed, sofa, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom) everything you need. A little old but very clean and very quiet. Very great location surrounded by shops and bars.

The appartment is located in a great area right in the heart of the city, many restaurants and shops nearby and in a cute authentic Shanghai alleyway. The host sent directions to check in through WeChat, which all worked great. Bed is really comfy too. Only thing is the WiFi and washing machine were not working while I was there. I texted the owner and they said they'd fix it but they never did. Also for me the disposable towels were quite uncomfortable. So for my next time I will book a hotel, which I think migh be more my style.

Upon arriving the room was not made (with previous customers trash everywhere). They offered an alternative room which was poor in quality then refused a full refund.
