We chose Capella for our first visit to Shanghai. Truly, it is a charming and supremely tranquil hotel in the heart of the city. The warmth and eagerness of the staff to assist us left us deeply moved. Every detail in our villa was meticulously and elegantly arranged, from the placement of the slippers to the absolutely silent light switches. We've stayed in many luxurious hotels and received beautiful luggage tags upon checkout, but the farewell gift from Capella left an impression far warmer and more memorable in our hearts. A truly elegant and exquisite experience.

This time I came to experience the Capella Shanghai Hotel that I had recommended to me. It was really a surprise. The hotel's services, facilities, equipment and environment were all very good. Especially Lynn at the front desk, she was very considerate and meticulous. I will come back next time if I have time!

The location is quiet in a busy area. The four-and-a-half-story building has well preserved the historical charm of the Shikumen pavilion. The materials used in the renovation of the facilities can be seen to be carefully and attentively, and the linens and bedding are emphasized. I slept until breakfast on the first day and couldn't make it to the restaurant for breakfast 😂 The check-in guidance and room cleaning were timely and in place.
